I knew the games were cancelled before we left the house on Sunday, but CL didn't. I figured they would squeeze em in before the end of the month so they can be done with it. Were in town, but another Sunday morning game? Does anyone on the CL Board go to church?

That is BS... Kids need to rest and heal and parents need to regroup... What happened to Family Time?

Family time is the drive to and from the games. Teams will have difficult time with rosters this Sunday. Many families have already booked Spring Break vacations. CL's stance is Spring Break is not a valid reason for a schedule change request.

    Hey, 'dillo,
Do you know that for sure? Should I spend the money on airline re-booking fees?

That message was in an email that went out regarding Sundays make up games. You should contact your team manager concerning your make up game.

I know that our game is rescheduled for this Sunday, but I have a different take than the above apparently. We were told over and over that we would have games both week-ends of Spring Break, and therefore would have a normal practice schedule. I don't think anyone should be shocked, but I guess that is just me.

Right, The schedule had games on both Saturdays, but some families are leaving on spring break vacation Sunday morning.

Gotcha. I guess we don't have the luxury of missing practices. If we did, then we might as well extend the vacation through the week-end b/c BB sure wouldn't get any playing time come Saturday.

I have no problem with the springbreak thing as everyone is forewarned - although a couple of years ago it would have killed my St Louis to Chicago trek.
I do have a problem with the Sunday morning and Wednesday evening situation. The scheduling is so tight I realize they have no alternatives, so we just have to live with what we have.
Do not spend the $200 as there really isn't a valid argument with the possible exception of more than half your team must attend a trip to England on behalf of the Classic League to recruit for Dallas Cup.
