    Congrats to the Blaze!

Congrats to the Blaze, who tied Tigres 2-2 this past weekend. The tie was the first non-win for Tigres, who went 11-0 in the Fall and were 3-0 so far in the Spring. That result represents a big step forward for the Blaze and shows that teams can play with Tigres.

Tigres had a couple of close calls recently, a pair of 2-1 wins over Boca Jr and FCD White. The Blaze were finally able to get a point off Tigres, which no other team had been able to do so far. It's too bad Tigres didn't take the opportunity to move up to Group 1 this Spring. It would be interesting to see how they would have fared against the stronger competition.

I mean exactly what I said. It would have been interesting to see how Tigres performed against the teams in PPL Group 1. They are obviously a talented team, but there are only a few teams in Group 2 that can give them a close game. They would have had a stronger challenge had they elected to move up to Group 1 like Valencia and Aces did.
