Will they buy into the PA franchise? What say you? Is it worth it? All opinions are welcome!

If you have the credentials it is more than possible. If not then it's not a legit league.

like that will ever happened. what happened today was a travesty, real players benched so ringers could avoid relegation.....

by definition... a dual rostered player is a "real" player lol. we are talking about d1 for goodness sake. its not like a d3 team brought in "ringers" from d1 to win a game

keep telling yourself that, you used a ringer and sat your real team to avoid relegation, everyone knows and sadly, your real players know...

...and got tossed for taunting the ref. I wonder how pleased his PA coach will be as he sits out his next game (or two).

Classic League cards do not roll over to PA/DA leagues. So the coach won't be disappointed at all.

Just another proud DT moment then. Guess he knew the rules Otherwise might not have kissed his yellow card as ref held it up.

Was impressive display of sportsmanship.

Now that all is done...Should the independents consider PA status knowing the quality is questionable. I may be wrong but I doubt I am on this one. I say that with the standings on hand and some foremarly very good teams at the bottom and some out of D1.
Take Solar....Obliterated from D1 while DTX are nowhere near what they were. My pinion is to open D1 with bottom half to have to qualify into D1. I've seen this team Annirranzas or sonething like that that might just be a handful save the top D1 teams.

In any event is there even space for these teams or just form another PA like leauge? I'd also like to know why would these teams sacrifice and I'd say embarrass their once mighty teams???

Not seeing the wisdom in that or do you have to break a few eggs to make the PA omelet.

one of the problems with soccer in general but shows in Classic League is the watered down talent pool. any club can put a team together and try to compete. while this is good for some it allows the clubs to form A,B,C,D,E teams. the nice thing about the ussf academies is there can only be ONE DA or PA team per club. yes some eggs will and have been cracked, scrambled and fried.
