Sometimes they want to see what options they have or don't have, and those experiments don't always work out. Sometimes coaches make decisions based on a longer view of things and those decisions can adversely impact short-term results. Sometimes parents pressure coaches to try their kid at a certain position. I don't know the reasons for the changes in lineups for CC, but I think we can safely exclude the possibility of "sabotage."
I agree it was not sabotage based on the way that coach screamed about everything the entire game. He was clearly not happy about losing. We experienced similar issues with a lineup chage that didn't quite work out as planned the 1st half of the season and went through another change this half which has worked out quite well. Lineup changes happen all the time. Has anyone considered the possibility that, instead of an unfortunate lineup change, self sabotage, inability to "get out of their own way" or falling apart on the part of CC, MAYBE, just maybe, Azzurri actually played well and is improving, dare I say, DEVELOPING, its players? No one else has put 5 goals on CC the entire season. Maybe we can play soccer and develop players in East Texas. Especially with an extra helpin o' squirrel heads.
