99 Boys Texas Lightening Tournament

Darn - wish we were playing, would have a been "fun" no pressure weekend. Some of these tournaments do a really bad job advertising, didn't even know about this one.

United beat Madrid - D1 team loses to an Arlington team...crazy.

more then likely Madrid had a very bad game or players missing united is scrappy but no the same level of play as Madrid thats for sure!

lol it was the DTS #2 team with missing players! United is good but regardless they are still a PPL team? got lucky when the beat Madrid good for them though!

Heard that the final was a very good one between A. Madrid & DTS. Went to overtime and DTS pulled it out in the end after a roller coaster game. Good to see 2 scrappy teams go at it.

Congrats to DTS on their win. This United 99 team looks to be one to keep an eye on (nearly beat 2 D1 Classic Teams).

Which proves, once more, that those U11 D1 teams are really not that good. It is a coin toss every week-end, with any team able to beat any other team. Rosters need to consolidate. Hopefully in the U12 division...

which really proves that the really fast kick and run players days are numbered teams with good ball control with start to dominate!
