Has anybody heard anything about what the Texan teams are going to do in the offseason as far as changing?

Oh BTW top to bottom I think DT is the most solid. Take 2 or 3 of their best players and they stay D1 but drop to 4-6 place

What I mean is that using your "glowing rays" logic, do you think the top teams have more "causing it to shine" players and fewer "basking in the glory"? Regarding the top 2 or 3 players on any team, take them away and the team's dynamics completely change. On the flip side of that, add one or two key players to a good team and they should advance in the standings if the chemistry is right.

Texans always focus on upgrading and getting better. The 99 team is getting a new coach and that means every starting position is open to competition and change. Based on history, the team will disappear during the summer months and re-emerge next fall much stronger than it was in the spring season.

Lots of first time posters with intel. Couldn't possibly be a second alias?

Actually agree with your post, but all I will say is stay tuned and expect the un-expected.

BTW, like the new DT coach and think he will make that team stronger.

What about the second team? Are they getting another coach? I guess DT1 (Craft) boys are happy, but have the perception that DT2 (Connell) is in the exact opposite end. BTW, who's the new coach for DT1?

No covert ops or intel required. Standard operating procedure (SOP) for Texans. Second teamers can try out for the top team like everyone else across the metroplex. The un-expected is to be expected after the first year of select soccer, it is that way every year.

There was a subliminal message in my post, but I guess only a lucky few could read it.

Rumor has it the new DT1 coach is from the 96 Red Team (Marcio)

Hmmm...according to the different rumors he is taking on '99, '00 next year and '01 the following. Guess it's possible.

Anything is possible with Marcio. This guy is full of energy, and he should make those teams better.

Marcio is a great coach buit even better skills coach. He will make any team better but most kids can't stay with him more than 2-3 years because he can be BRUTAL!!!

I have no doubt that "the special one" will have them playing better soccer. They may even pic up a player or two. The real question is what the other teams are doing to catch up

State Cup is 1 week away, a lot of good teams in this tournament. Do the Texans(Craft) have it wrapped up again this year, or is it too close to call?

What is going on at FCD? Is Suarez out and who is coaching who next year? Blue? Is this the best thing for a pretty good team to make a coaching switch?

I heard something similar this weekend, but nobody had any details. Coaching changes can be good or bad, it all depends on the new coach and if parents are focused on development or just just winning the next game.

yep, that's about it. FCD thinks it's the CIA with lot's of rumors and inuendo. It's the one thing I give the darklord credit for. They make a plan for the Texans, dessiminated the information, you either fall in line or find somewhere else to play. No playing footsies with the parents, kids, and coaches. No secret meetings, plans, or smoke and mirrors. You contribute to the darklords plan of soccer domination or you are replaced by a kid who can. My DD team just had a meeting. Hard, fast, this is how it's gonna be. End of story and it's just 03 girls, damn that was refreshing to have.

exactly what the darklard would say. "yes, yes, embrace your competetiveness, feel the power, Sign here and your transformation shall be complete". It's not light over there, I can admit it plays to my nononses, no bs, make it happen sensabilities though.

WHAT? A Texan in the family? Turncoat. I sense a game plan: infiltrate, sobotage.
