05 Boy new to Allen looking for a team

Post by 4bears on 7/28/2014, 11:23 am

I am new to Allen and I am looking for a team for my son. Looking for a youth academy team relatively close to Allen. I am coming from an area that forms teams and places kids completely different then anything I've seen around here. Feeling a little lost and struggling to get information. Thanks in advance for any help. PM or reply in thread is cool.

Sent you a PM - If your looking for a coach who focuses his practices on your son and doesn't have 8 different teams to stretch himself between, then give us a call

Valid point however, you also want to think about not joining a coach/club that has only 1 or 2 teams for your age group.  I have seen time and time again where the skills gap between players end up placing kids on the bench.

Choose wisely

The "1 team coach" is rare here in North Texas but I can tell you from experience... it does work. Did it with the 96 group and things worked out well with them. As long as the families are dedicated and get their kids to practices, having 1 team will not cause a skill gap. Good luck 4Bears on finding a group. Give me a call or email if you would like to talk.
