    NEWS RELEASE www.andromedasc.com

Andromeda SC Completes Major Refinancing $4.0M Capital Infusion Secures Youth Soccer Club’s Future Plano, Texas (Mon, May 3, 2010) --- Plano based Andromeda Soccer Club announced today that they have concluded a financial transaction that will result in an immediate capital infusion of $4,000,000.

The timing of the announcement coincides with the competitive youth soccer club’s 30th anniversary … making them one of the oldest and now well financed youth soccer brands in the country.

“We have been working on this transaction for a very long time. To finally have it done and behind us … and to know that it secures the next 30 years for this very special club … is truly an occasion for celebration,” said Stan Strifler, President of Andromeda SC.

Strifler went on to say “We owe a great deal of thanks to the Hewes Family … specifically brothers Andy and Steve Hewes … for making this a reality. The transaction was so complex and the economic environment so completely unsupportive that any normal backers would have walked away months ago. Their resolve to get this done was simply above and beyond. And we would be remiss if we did not mention the Behringer Family … specifically Robert Behringer … for the patience he demonstrated as we put this transaction together.”

Immediate plans for use of the capital include paying off the mortgage on the club’s spectacular 35 acre training facility located in east Plano, construction of three all-weather turf Futsal fields, and making a material investment in the improvement of their coaching staff.

Mike Powers, Girls Director of Coaching for Andromeda and a 23 year member of its coaching staff, noted “We already believed that we had the finest youth soccer training facility in the country. But to know that we will now be making even further investment in the facility is truly a coach’s dream.”

Not only is Andromeda’s training facility a differentiator for them in youth club soccer, but the fact that all of their 42 teams practice at the facility as opposed to being scattered across various locations in the Metroplex makes them very unique amongst North Texas clubs.

“We have been of the belief for many years that facilities-centric clubs represent the next generation of youth soccer club … not only here in North Texas but all across the country,” Strifler stated. “The driving reason being that you have an opportunity to truly become a club … on all fronts … as opposed to simply wearing the same jersey. Much like what you would see in European or Latin American communities … but with an American twist. Just as an example … imagine us hosting a community service project at the facility … and being able to bring more than 2,000 adult/player/sibling volunteers to bear each and every week … that would be special.”

And of course if all the teams are at the facility then too are all the coaches … which creates the unique advantage of establishing “hands on” player development standards across the entire club … as on any given night the Directors of Coaching can work with each and every coach … and each and every team.

Josema Bazan, one of two Boys Directors of Coaching for Andromeda, added “This transaction will allow us to make major improvements to our coaching staff … from both a quality and a quantity perspective. Over the next few years we expect to become the destination of choice for the best and brightest of youth soccer coaches.”

Oscar Borgarello, second of the two Boys Directors of Coaching for Andromeda and himself a 22 year member of the coaching staff, added “Not only is this a great day for us … but one could argue that it is also a great day for youth soccer in all of North Texas. The competitive landscape here is what makes us all better every day … so anytime the bar is raised we all benefit … and this announcement certainly raises the bar from a financial stability perspective.”

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Andromeda SC is comprised of more than 600 youth soccer players ranging in age from U7 to U19 that comprise 42 teams playing competitively in leagues including both Boys and Girls Classic Leagues in North Texas and the U.S. Soccer Federation’s National Player Development Academy. Celebrating their 30th anniversary this year … having won three National Championships since 2007 … having placed 100+ collegiate players at prestigious programs across the country … and having one of the finest youth training facilities in the United States … Andromeda is fast becoming one of the most recognized brands in all of youth soccer.
