Not the Rev/FCD team! Clementin Oancea will coach that one.

No the solar 98 team. Sailorman seem to suggest something to that effect

What? rev/fcd has a great coach. How is that mixed in with the solar and passos and now wizards?

rev/fcd let go of jb because they said he was trying to take the team to another club. the decision for rev to go to fcd was made at the top without any input from jb, which they were in their full right to do, but jb had a "handshake" agreement with co that this team would remain his. co backed out of his word and fired him so that the team couldn't talk to jb about any other options. perfect example of how in ntx competetive soccer business comes before friendship, honesty and the best interest of the kids.

all things aside, best of luck to the boys on this team going forward because many are ex-wizards. i have no doubt that they will be coached very well by co because he is a very good coach, but pleasantries end there.

    ______________
The decision to make the move to fc was from the top, but the reason jb was fired was for trying to take the team from under the club by having private meetings with his group of wizards
jb was trying to take 75% and take the team to his club wizards. The only reason jb didn't have input was because he chose not to show up to coaches meetings.
The club had two choices. 1.) Let him take them or 2.) take the team from him.

yep that will get you fired everytime. You can make a play for the 75 but if you don't get it you are done with a club. Nothing to do with the boys though. Great group

agree go99, shame on jb for taking a man's word and thinking that any club would actually act differently and do what's right vs. selling out for a little chump change.

regarding the two choices whoswe is saying rev had.... bull crap! rev could have let him finish the season and ended the relationship amicably. there was one game left in the season and nothing was going to change between those last two games. all that was accomploshised by doing it that way was to kill a friendship and show the true colors to everyone out there of the rev club. if he wanted to he could make a run at the 75%, but he chooses not to for the sake of not tearing the team up any further and making it difficult on his grandson who is still on this team.

oh and btw whoswe say that jb chose not to attend the coaches meeting, that's a bunch of bs as well. he was not invited to that meeting on purpose, and if whoswe is within the rev club he/she know that. whoswe is says that jb was trying to take the team to wizards, but fails to mention that rev people started talking to ex-wizards players on the team behind jb's back about how the team would be better off without him and better off with fcd before he was let go.

all this time rev preached on how different they were from the big clubs and would function with an independent feel, but when it came down to it, they were just words.

whoswe knows damn well that if it wasn't for jb and the wizards boys he brought over rev would have never had a d1 team to begin with. the talented 98's rev had would have ended up playing with other teams in classic or in arlington select like their other boys teams rev puts together (with the exception of oc other older classic team).

what rev did was well within their rights and within ntx rules, but it was down right dirty from a personal stadpoint and they know it.

nice way to repay him.... hope oc and the others sleep well at night and feel proud of themselves, but knowing what they are about now i bet they do.

and to think that there were even conversations at one point about wiz joining rev and bringing our 99's, 00's & 01's that are classic bound. let's see now when rev can put together a classic level boys team.

i will end again by saying best of luck to all the boys on this team, ex-wizards and original revs. all of these boys are great kids and have something really special going. hope they continue do well and really develop under oc. who as a coach, i think very highly of.

sorry to say that i don't feel the same way about rev as a club now.

well the wizards seem to be doing well. Both the 99 and 00 in the finals so everything is looking bright there. There is definitely some personal stuff wrapped up in there but I hope everyone can realize that part of it is business and that is controlled by contracts and part of it personal and thats the part that should be focused towards the kids. Good luck to both groups and kudos for the rise of the wizards. I certainly hope it continues.

All Wizard players are no longer with the Rev club they are all at Pumas. So let's not pretend like this wasn't premeditated.
Good luck to all the kids where ever they land.

premeditated is the wrong word to use. they would not be over there if this would have been handled differently. they played in the namdc tournament with rev, so they aren't "at pumas". they are looking at all options just like the guest players that were on the rev team during the namdc and half the kids in competitive soccer are.

agree with you, good luck to all the kids wherever they land. cheers!

Mini "me" isn't going to tolerate prima D parents... thank goodness (collective exhale). Will be decided on the pitch.

    This is getting very TMZ'ish.
I saw Revs kids at DT98 practice the other day. I think I also saw Perez Hilton there as well.
So, as of the following posts, we now have Revs "sightings" with Pumas, DT98, and FCD.
How bout Andro & TFC??? Any sightings to report?

I had a reported sighting of several well know, high profile rev players at a revolution/fcd practice. Shocked this has all been confirmed by the coach and several other eye witnesses. Very Happy
