U15 Dallas Cup/Teams/Schedule

Post by PG-Boy on 3/8/2016, 1:58 pm

2016 Edition

The local teams are: FC DALLAS 01 PREMIER (HAYES), FC DALLAS U13/14 USSF DA, FC DALLAS 01 YOUTH (CHE), DALLAS TEXANS, SOLAR CHELSEA U14 USSF DA.

The two German teams, FC DALLAS U13/14 USSF DA, and Tigres are my bets to make a run at the Final.

The defending champ has returned, AC BREA B00. Last year they matched up with FC Dallas U13/14 in a Final that went into Extra Time and PKs.

DAY 1

NTX teams; 2 wins, 2 loses and 1 tie.

Bracket A:
Eintracht Frankfurt and FC Dallas Premier '01, tied 1-1.  Perhaps the Germans were a bit tired from jet lag and/or their scrimmage the prior day when they (allegedly) scored about 10 goals on Solar's U14 DA team.

Bracket B:
FC Dallas U14 Academy scored 9 goals in a complete domination of Fussballschule Millerntor from Germany.

Bracket C:
Dallas Texans lost a close one to the Japanese team, Maebashi FC U15, 3-2.

Bracket D:
Coach Che's FC Dallas team defeated SHKY FC U15 from Trinidad and Tobago in a scrappy match.

Bracket E:
Solar Chelsea U14 USSF DA lost a close-one, 2-1 to a Dallas Cup regular, Prepa Tec from Mexico.

Bracket F:
No local teams.

Bracket G:
No local teams.

Bracket H:
No local teams.

The teams that made it to the semifinals are:

1. Eintracht Frankfurt v. Sereno

2. Tigres v. AC Brea.

The Frankfurt team won their QF game 9-0 and were a clinical display of how soccer should be played.

Yes, it was a fabulous win. Really incredible. Stupendous. You should see the soccer wall their kids train with. It's massive. Awesomely gold plated. And they made PSG pay for it.

I kid, the Germans aren't nearly as fascist as the presumptive nominee. At least not for the last 60 plus years.

Eintracht Frankfurt won the final 4-0 in a game where Tigres never really threatened Frankfurt.

Was a great chance to watch some of the best U15 kids out there this week in Frankfurt. On a different level than the other teams in this tournament.
