Well, since he posted this in the 99 Forum, I think it would be safe to assume that's the group he was referring to. Just how my logical brain functions.

As navigating down the "Latest Topics"column does not provide that detail...seems like common practice to include such simple detail as to group age Monsieur Einstein...DUH?

It would seem like "common practice" to read the title of the thread --- which is 99 fcd premier. That might give you a clue.
It would also seem like "common practice" to scroll up to the top of the thread and read that you are in Texas Soccer -- Boys Forum -- 99 Boys. That might give you a clue.

My thoughts exactly. How many cues or clues does someone need to figure out what a post is about? This guy is apparently an Aggie and needs more than: (1) a post in the 99 boys forum; (2) a title that says "99 fcd premier", which appeared in the "Latest Topics" section he claims to have been navigating; and (3) a header at the top of the thread, which was only 2 posts from his own, which read ">Texas Soccer > Boys Forum > 99 Boys. I guess he wanted the following:
    ">Texas Soccer > Boys Forum > 99 Boys
99 boys at the 99 fcd premier open practices
    josweir55:
When I was at the 99 boys open practices for the 99 fcd premier team, I saw some 99 fcd gold boys and some 99 fcd south boys at the 99 fcd boys premier team kick-arounds. My 99 bb not asked back to the 99 premier practices or tryouts where the 99 fcd boys premier team will be signed. anyone know the status of 99 gold and 99 south boys? Will they retain their spots in 99 Boys Classic League Division II of the 99 age group where the 99 boys play?"
Is that clear enough for you?

We're talking 99s, right? Want to make sure I'm in the right forum. Does FCD South still have a team? Their coach's email on the site is not active. If not, who gets their D2 bye?

so wait, I'm confused Are we talking about the 99's? Don't worry, alot of boys were not asked back for a number of reasons. After which a number of boys chose to not come back. Can honestly say I saw what could have amounted to the best 99 team in NTX out at the practices. For whatever reasons, they decided not to go with that. I am sure they will do fine however. FCD south will hold even if the club has to bring in players.

who me? No I am going to retire. Bad knees. BB is having fun though and looking forward to a challenging year. Looked at a few places, but in the end I let him do what he wanted so we will see how it works out. As far as the premier team goes, let's just say it was a bad experience that left him with alot of anger and bad feelings for some people so we know he will not be there.

Yes, I retired some time ago. Still coach, though. Indoor tonite. Weird how that premier thing was put together. Will prove to be pure genius or a miserable failure. We'll know in 10 months. Good luck, Go!

DD is already there. Based on the number of top kids who were inside the club during the open period and are now populating the top teams of other clubs, I would say (from a club perspective) to some degree it has already failed.

they will be fine. The do need to decide do they want to build players or teams. One common theme between Ajax and many of the brazillian clubs is that it is never about the team for the youth it is always about creating the best possible players. It was dissapointing to see so many really talented players walk away from the club. You hope the juniors program can attract them back at older ages but then you are leaving a majority of the development to hands outside the club.

I understand what your saying but I think the team will be good to go but they did lose a couple of the best players(key players) not only on that team but in the league to another club!!!!

yeah and losing those players is a tragic club issue. The "TEAM" will be fine and maybe thats the road FCD is looking to travel. Build great teams and win lots of meaningless games so you can attract even more youth players fees and make more money. Maybe FCD is just another evil empire? The grass was awful green down south. Definitely my pick and the most fun playing in june. BB's focused, motivated and ready to take on soccer.

FCD Central is full. bb was encouraged to go to 99FCD Red or 99FCD Black. Anyone know anything about the teams? Both practice at Pizza Hut park which is convenient. Both are D3 this year. Any help is appreciated.

I believe FCD red is the better of the 2 and they have picked up a few nice players. Don't know if they are full or not. Don't know much about FCD black but the coach is pocock "mr mckinney" so has an impressive coaches resume.

those two teams in D3 could be in trouble! D3 might be the most competitive division out there!
