King Tut rules state ----- "Each Team (Including Academy) will play four games".
Maybe they will give the 99s a 50% refund of the $550 entrance fee since they could only schedule 50% of the games promised.

Looks like the King Tut Tourney is bringing last season's D1 4th place (formerly coached by Suarez), FCD Gold - Figo (moving to D2), and NTX Strikers (D3).

Wide range of skill levels. Shouldn't be much fun at all.

Puma cup has 5 teams and King Tut has 3 teams. I am guessing 1)there was ALOT of movement and teams don't feel comfortable coming out just yet 2)there was a lot of movement and teams don't have uniforms yet (jk) 3)teams were burnt out with all the tournament rain outs and wasted money this past year.

I was mad our team didn't try harder to get into these tournaments, now, not so much!

Well for the 99s at King Tut to get 2 games for $550 makes me feel like I am wasting money!

I was thinking about those two in Gold / Silver. ASG North Gold did well in SDL where TFC White did well in the Memorial (Made it to Semi's and lost to FCD Premier 5-3). I suspect it comes down to who's roster strengthened over the past month as to who would be stronger in Gold for this tournament.

    To the King Tut organizers,

Since the U12 division only has three teams and the U13/U14 division only has four teams, why don't you combine the divisions? Currently the U12 division teams are only scheduled to play two games. The U13/U14 division has to play a team twice. Combining the divisions would allow each team to play four games against four different opponents. It seems so simple, so I am probably missing some reason not to do it. But if the games are "friendlies", why not?

    DadofDefense

Since Classic League plays separate U13 and U14 divisions, I don't know that it could be argued that King Tut couldn't mix divisions; they already have.

I don't think TFC White (Schell) should be up there.

ASG should be in Gold before Andro White, FCD Spencer or TFC White. Rolling Eyes

Very good team from Houston. They played in the pysa Spring Kick in 09 and won it. Their parents come complete with noisemakers and drums. Maybe they've updated to vuvuzelas. But the boys have definitely got talent...at least they did a year ago...
