Very good team from Houston. They played in the pysa Spring Kick in 09 and won it. Their parents come complete with noisemakers and drums. Maybe they've updated to vuvuzelas. But the boys have definitely got talent...at least they did a year ago...

And, they have their own theme song.

They have taken down the U12 schedule. Doesn't look like we are going to get to play at all this weekend.

Geez, wonder if the PUMA cup needs a team.......

Now THAT was funny, Dom. I remembered it immediately when I saw it. Watched that show EVERY weekend growing up.

Just out of curiosity, any updates on the U12's? I still don't see a schedule and the tourney starts tomorrow. This one may get the grand prize for taking it down to the wire!

There are some U12's in the Puma Cup this weekend. Are you going to check out any of those games?

It's not happening for the U12's at Tut this year.

    Hey Tut!!!

Are those 5:00 games over yet?

With all the bodies over at FCD, can we find someone to update some scores?

I don't think TFC White (Schell) should be up there.

ASG should be in Gold before Andro White, FCD Spencer or TFC White. Rolling Eyes

    Wow, this thread got quiet.....

Yep. ASG played like #^&$ this weekend.

However, that doesn't take away from what they did in the Spring in SDL & SDL II and tournaments. That's what the brackets should have been based upon. Not afterwards.

Are you indicated that the TEJANOS should have been in Gold and the Bandits in Silver then?

Naa, I am not familiar enough with the teams to say, just thought I'd poke

In general tournments around here are not seeded very accurately so no surprise if this one wasn't. You always hear King Tut and Puma results are weighed heavily for QT seeding but from what I have seen it is really only the case for new or unknown teams. If your team had a good year in U10 academy it will generally be reflected in the QT seedings so I wouldn't worry about one subpar tournament in the middle of the summer.

Better this week than at QT. I hope...

Of course, some players might have left certain teams between SDL and signing day which could reflect in a poor showing. But only the coaches, parents, and team know if thats true.

For some I am sure that is true. We lost one and added one. So the team is basically been the same for a year. Were were missing one and had one sick. Hopefully, we can get back on track.

this was my first complaint on this post.....U-14 gets combined w/U-15 and still only totaled 4....why do teams travel so far for so little in return and at $ 5.00 a car ? ?

Oh, parking is back down to $5.00 again, is it? They bumped it to $7 last season. I guess all the local area businesses complained about all the cheap soccer parents (like me) parking and walking rather than pay the larcenous PHP parking charge.
