Now that the 2 big ranking tournies are over does anybody know when Classic leaque will post team rankings for the QT draw.

If I remember correctly, they won't post "the rankings." Your schedule for the QT will come out and you can deduce the rankings from it.
In reality, the rankings won't matter because you're going to play who they tell you to play....and then your team just needs to beat them! =) Good luck!

You are correct whyme, CL will not post the rankings, just the groups. From the groups you will be able to back into their rankings. From what I understand, they will look at Got Soccer PAL & tournament results to determine the seedings.
They look heavily at the NAMDC, Puma Cup and King Tut Tournament results. I also heard that they do tend to "peak" at SDL results posted on here, but that is not confirmed information.
The tournament will have 10 groups. The last two years they have used the following format to fill out each group:

Group A: #1, #20, #21, #31, #50

Some observations from the last few tournaments that may impact the seedings:
FCD Premier - NAMDC & King Tut Champs & ASG Adidas runner ups. Would not be surprised if this performance is enough to make them the #1 overall seed.
Wizards - ASG Adidas & Kyle Owen Champs & NAMDC runner ups. Should have secured a top 5 ranking.
Solar Red – Puma Cup Champs. Convincing showing in Puma Cup to demonstrate that they are still a force. Should have secured ranking as a top 6 or 7 team.
TFC Wells – ASG Adidas runner ups. Solidified position as a top 5 teams.
Tigres Academy – Puma Cup runner ups. Must be considered as a top 20 team.

Top QT seedings should unfold as follows:

1) FCD Premier

2) DT (Pomykal)

3) Bandits

4) Wizards

5) TFC Wells

6) Solar Red

7) FCD East

Andromeda Red

9) Solar Partain

10) ASG Gold North

There are 40 U11 teams for QT. There will be 10 brackets of 4 the first weekend. Bracket winner moves to D1 and last place will be gone. The 2nd weekend will be 5 brackets of 4 with the top 2 in each going to D1 and the bottom 2 making up D2. Remember there are 20 teams in D1 the first year and 10 in D2.

How many teams did the big clubs get accepted? Looking back through the Spring, it looked like FCD had 10 Academy teams....40 seems a little light based upon all the teams in action for PAL and SDL....

Interesting...when the '93s went through Qualifying, there were 64 teams in their QT (and that is when they only had twenty teams in Classic League (no D3)).

Unless they changed if from last year. Any team can join, last year there where 48 teams. There are ten brackets and each bracket will play a round robin tournamet after the first weekend the ten winners are in D1 and places 2,3 and 4 come back the next weekend and everyone else moves on to PPL or APL. During the second weekend the team are reseaded and the play again in ten brackets. First place goes to D1, second to D2 and third onto PPL or APL. That is how they have done it the last two years, not sure if they changed it this year

It depends on how many teams you have in the QT. There will not be 10 brackets the 2nd weekend. There will only be 20 teams left to qualify after the first weekend. So 5 brackets of 4. The last place team in each bracket the first weekend will not be playing the 2nd weekend.

QT schedules will be handed out at the managers meeting on July 24th. Never said I was a commissioner....Never assume anything.

Any predictions beyond the top 10? I know it gets harder to guess seeding beyond those top groups--just wondering if anyone has any thoughts.

This is just based on performance over the last few important tournaments. Bandits have not done well (for whatever reason) and FCD has. If CL does what they say and go heavily off NAMDC, King Tut and Puma Cup, then FCD has to be put on top.

This does not mean that FCD will be the best team going into QT, just means that they took care of business when they had to.
