Wait, where is all this wizards love coming from? Did they pick up alot of players? Didn't they just come up from D3? To expect them to go straight into D1 next season and take down all the previously D1 teams seems to be a bit of a stretch.

Yes, Wiz did just come up from DIII, and while they were very good, they didn't absolutely dominate that division. Are the divisions that close in competitiveness?

exactly. For much of the year it was FCD central who dominated. I can't see them winning D2 unless they have added players. Normal developement isn't going to provide them that much of a jump in performance.

Still not getting the Wizards thing. A loss to FCD blue is what sent them to D2 last year. Why is everyone expecting them to beat all of the teams FCD blue couldn't. What has changed over there?

No one could beat Texan Craft but ASG tied them. Anything is possible. I have yet to see the Wizards play, but I hear they are fast & dirty. If all of the teams would be more aggressive, you would see a different standing in all divisions. The top teams always have the aggressive players that get to the ball first and take shots on goal. I will be interested to see the Wiz kids this year to see if it is really there for them.

I watched the Wizards play in the Final at the Memorial Day Cup. They are a good D2 team and should do well this year.
They will need to tone down the antics a little bit. The falling down drama is way over the top. During the game a player went down near the sideline and just outside the box. The pain was excruciating. The coach came out and did a full body check, complete with leg rub downs and tilting the head backward for a possible concussion. One minute later, he was back in full speed action. The ref was young and you could tell be the look on her face that she considered issuing a yellow card. That stuff has no place in the higher leagues.

Get used to the "antics" from the Wizards. From all appearances, they have been taught quite well how to feign injury. It doesn't matter if they are winning or losing. They will use the same drama-filled tactics.
I agree that deception of that kind has no place in higher leagues; however, just watch CONCACAF and you will see plenty of that stuff. It's unfortunate to see little kids emulating that behavior.
