I think the lack of phonic abilities was directed at you my friend.

Yes it was that's why I said "usually". Today I am on IE that doesn't have a spell checker. I am technolazy, not stupid.

Todays' DMN has a great article on Emmitt Smith and the values his inherited from his father, Emmit Smith Jr. On the topic of celebrations..."The father did demand dignity on the field. When the son launched into a look-at-me touchdown dance early in his career at Florida, the father scolded him. 'Son, show a little class. Act like you've been there before.' The son listened and never did it again.

The father, a man of character, respect and values, taught his son how to act like a champion long before he became a Hall of Fame player.

Great approach. It's the same thing I've told my boys for years with the added line "... and act like you expect to be there again". John Riggins was another great whose entire celebration consisted of a turning jog towards the bench followed by an underhand ball flip to the ref. I think he did that 22 times one year.

A soccer player actually didn't understand the rules, and thought the play was all about him. Who'd a thunk? I've never seen anything like that ever... well, not since everytime I go to Richland.
