    Post  10cvs71 on Sat Aug 07, 2010 11:05 pm

Anyone have any idea what is going on with Solar two coaches are now taking over two of the 04 teams and the third team apparently it will disappeared. I've also heard that parents were not happy with coach Joey and his coaching philosophy any input on that

Wish people would reread what they type before clicking the send button.
Input: Most every team in NTX has parents that are not happy about something. For every parent that dislikes a club or coach, another loves them.

Indeed Happyfeet, there is a persistent rumor that coach Joey was not telling the kids to stop clumping up. If true, this is intolerable. Very Happy

Over the course of the year the team lost some of its competitive edge and fell in the rankings. There was concern amongst the principals that the team might not be able to produce on the field as expected and a feeling that some restructuring was in order. This concern was premature, however. Recent acquisitions at key positions, retention of top producers, and renewed commitment from management indicate the likelihood of a highly competitive U7 group.

True, but that was before they loaned a few key players out to the european market for the entire Sponge Bob season 4 dvd set.

Hard choices must be made in order to develop a successful team. It is unfortunate to lose a popular player, particularly when he is your own child. Some players, however, have more value to the club by being traded. Think, for instance, of the number of players that could be enticed to the club by a regular showing of Sponge Bob acquired through trade. Some of these very players may develop into core producers if not franchise players. Management needs to being thinking of the long term and suffer the pain upfront if necessary.

How much does Solar charge the parents of a U7 to play?

Does Nike / Adidas / Puma even make leather booties that small, or are they still feax / plastic?

At that age, my kid averaged over 10 goals per game. Look at him now. He's a central defender for a top D3 school. That just goes to show you that these kids may start out strong, but with time, they can really go downhill as they get.... bigger.

What, in VHS tapes, was the going rate for 10 goals/game?

I always felt some uneasiness attending our team's U7 games after my son was traded away - but, I took one for the team and it worked out. I think they enjoyed the wares of the trade (Sno Cones) and they did end up close to .500.

As long as they continue to be slow, I think the bigger part evens everything out - just painful to watch thin, slow players.

When my kids was 6-7, it may have been Beanie Babies or Pokemon cards. I can't remember.

From strategic, team-building point of view you do not want to trade for worn out products. Logically, therefore, you should be getting a large number of VHS tapes for a viable young player. Oddly however, worn out products evincing foreign accents go at premium prices in the US. Although briefly good for merchandising they usually crap out quickly and are not a good allocation of resources. Better to go with some more contemporary, domestic Sponge Bob that will pay competitive dividends for a few years.

Texas Rangers GM is finally taking this path as well - the VHS trades the prior GM enjoyed certainly didn't pan out - in baseball, foreign accents are also at a premium. Same situation with the Cowboys prior QB candidates.

Top as in education, D3 soccer, both?? Come'on Flat, share. It's far more entertaining than 6 year old recruiting.
