SELECT FORCE FC 96B (BOYLE) (Texas North)

FCD Blue did return a few of the guest players from the Frisco Tournament...but they were from FCD West in Arlington...and they are only returning 1 player from last years roster. But Chas is a great coach...and they will probably be pretty competitive. First in D3 may be a stretch, but who knows?

Well if its FC Dallas West then you can probably drop them 8 or 9 spots and move everyone up one-but who knows, like you say he is a good coach and maybe they can perform better. Glad to hear Select Force will make it-thought it was interesting how they beat the top 2 challenge teams but couldn't put away the other ones-maybe they can shake things up a bit.

How did Select Force get the other D3 spot? .....Did they join Texans?

I believe Select Force is in as they placed 3rd in the challenge games, and the movement in Texans resulted in DTRN moving up, thus leaving a 3rd opening in D3.

Following up from the original post, I think soccerdad1 has missed D1, but think his thoughts are as good as any for D2 and D3.

Here is how I see it, with a few editorial comments:

D1(regardless of order, the top 6 and bottom 4 are pretty obvious)

1. Solar (strong team returns intact)
2. Texans Red (much improved bench)
3. FDC (what will be impact of new coach)
4. Tejanos (WM always gets em to play, despite annual defections-do they have a keeper?)
5. Andro Red (seem to be losing momentum)
6. Texans South (picked up half new roster of solid, mostly D1 boys-could finish higher)
7. Andro (seem to be gaining momentum)
8. Solar Red (lost at least 4 strongest players)
9. TFC or Titans ?
10. Titans or TFC

D2

1. Tornadoes
2. DTRW or Odyssey
3. Odyssey or DTRW
4. Longhorns
5. FCD West (Che')
6. Strikers
7. DTW
8. FWU (or whatever they are now)
9. Comets
10. CC West

D3

Don't know enough to even make an educated guess. I thought Texans West Texas was taking the Red North bye, though.

Sorry gang...just not on the ODY bandwagon. They have a nice team, with a coach that is way too much of a screamer...but there is too much talent between them and D1...maybe a middle of the pack D2 team at best.

Guess we will find out fast how good everyone is-3 game schedule is posted.

from the TX summer classic tourney it appears the Texans White team is actually Red North (Shamu) ........so I am guessing most of the White team moved on since the Red North team said they only have 3 former D-1 players....wonder how many left Red West after taking the drop.....

DTRW is now a mix of last years DTRW and DTW with the DTW coach. Yes, DTW is now Shamu's team. DTRN no longer exists.

When I clicked on the link it shows that Andro won 5-0. Must have just changed it, and had the score wrong. I did not think DTRW could beat Andro Red 5-0 Maybe 1-0.

They must have fixed it in the wee hours. I looked again late last night and it still showed DTRW as the winner.

Oh, and to CH1's question on returning DTRW...I hear 6 stayed, 7 scattered to D1 teams (mostly to DT teams) and the others went to DTW (Shamu). I may be wrong, though.
