Just a recap to keep the discussion rolling....

Looking at the predictions (Thank you for the 4 listed sets of predictions) 1st to last it looks like:
1) DT (Gall)/TFC White - The margin of victory for DT (Gall) has been increasing though a shutout is predicted regardless
2) Solar Red/NTX Strikers - Looks like Solar are favored up to a 3 goal margin
3) FCD East/ASG North Gold - FCD East has moved from losing by 2 goals to winning by two goals.

Otherwise there seems to be quite a bit of agreement on the boards on the rest of the matches.

Looks like "early" means "late" since it is now Friday afternoon. Someone said on another post that "a reliable source" told them after 10:00 pm tonight. ???

The German & Warhawk don't give much chance to the underdogs w/ only 2 & 0 respectively scoring. For Warhawk, if you score, you will either win or tie. Only the Solar Red/Striker game (w/ 3 ties in the mix), the Solar P/Tigeres (w/ split on who will win), the Andro/Toro game (w/ 2 ties offered) & the Andro/Tex game (w/ 3 ties and my prediction of a Tex win) offer any real differences in prognostication. Oh yeah, Soccer23 is going out on the limb to predict an ASG upset of FCD. That would be my summary of the 8 lines offered as of Friday PM.

And the Crystal Ball for best results guessing for week 1 ... may I have the envelope please .... Middie07 w/ 9 correct game results! ... Warhawk was a very close second with 9 correct results as well. Our only differences were the DT-Craft win & Tigeres/Solar tie. While Warhawk got the tie result correct, I hit the DT-Craft result and final score. Backpost was 3rd w/ six correct picked and two correct scores in the mix ... of course the guessing is just for fun and people wouldn't post them if they didn't want them critiqued ... Have fun w/ week 2.

Ok, so my underdogs didn't pan out. But, what's the fun in just picking the favorites. I'll just wait for Middle's picks next time and second. Ha!
