Admittedly I do not follow the 96s at all, but my bb's '97 team scrimmaged the Aces White squad last weekend and they have picked up some incredibly talented players this summer. They are a much better team than they were last season. I don't know how they'll stack up against the rest of the 96 teams, but Aces White could be one of the surprise teams this year. Just my $0.02.

Should have been 2-2 Two Break aways, one miss and a yellow card outside the box from behind. Texoma forward giving them fits all day.

Should have been a little closer, but just got beat by a better team. They are very well coached and fun to watch.
Texoma has alot of atheletes this year. Not a bad showing for their first two games these guys have ever played together. High hopes for PPL.

I guess Texoma is the only Plano team that has scored a goal in this tourney....

They are only taking "5" teams from the Q/T tournament. A total of "9" with the 4 teams with Byes. Winner of each bracket and a Wildcard move on. That's going to leave some talented teams in D-2. Just look at the brackets.

U15 - 25 teams, Div 1 = 9, Div 2 = 16, 16 in the PT, 5 Spots in Div 1,
PT = 4,4,4,4,. Top team from each bracket and 1 Wildcard
Division 1 will play 9 games in the Fall and 7 games in the Spring.
Division 2 will play 9 games in the Fall and 6 games in the Spring.
Division 2 may get an additional game if weather permits.

Div D-Texas Xtreme This by far the strongest group of teams I watched three of the four teams in this group play this past weekend at Aces tournament. Texoma does have a good forward but Xtreme has a defender that is awesome. Xtreme also had players out that were injured and did not play wanting to be healthy for this weekend. Xtreme Played Coppell last year a player or two down each time and it was a close game 1-0 or 2-1 (do not remember but was only a small difference). The other three groups do not have the competition this group has but I have been wrong before and might be wrong now.....Who knows the boys are 14 and 15 years old still have to wonder if they will show up to play......LOL

Wild Card-Coppell or Texoma

Wild card should come from group D because of stronger teams but most likely will not due to low scoring games.......

That is my thoughts on the subject and yes I do have a horse in this race.......... GO XTREME!!!!!!!

you dont know how the competition will be in the other groups. i havnt heard of alot of them. has anyone seen mutiny fc,bachman lake, or cdi gold east play? if you have would love to hear what they are like. it seems to me there isnt much room for error with one team going through. if your a top seed and end up with an amazing rec team in your group you could get screwed. look at inter milan, they came in and won plano one and are now in classic. i have seen xtreme play and they had a very talented big kid playing at the back . i did wonder why he was playing plano 2 when he could clearly play classic 1.

Did their Sweeper play for them last year in D-2? Because their sure were some D-2 PPL teams that scored quite a few goals on them. Xtreme's record was 10 wins / 8 losses / 0 ties in D-2 PPL. They had to pick up some more talent in other positions other than just one defender.

the rec teams have good players they play very well just they have big problem they cheat it playing whit older players inter had and the league ne ver did anything have to check the age whit original birth certificate

You can't win if you don't score-does Extreme have an offense to go with the defense? It didn't appear to have one last weekend and I know you lost a goal scorer to another team.

The leading scorer from last season didn't get to play in the tournament -- and yes, I kept track of the points scored And yes, he scored more points than the forward that went with Odyssey! I think we'll have a good team this year -- as long as we have more than 8 players!

i dont know if the same player but this guy last year was a beast for extreme at the back. in my opinion last season they had a below average team with one fantastic player at the back. the game i saw he scored twice by just winnin the ball at the back takin on the whole team and scoring.

I wish Extreme the best-we know quite a few players on the team back from the rec days. Good luck this weekend!

Well I hope we play you this weekend so you can get a good look at our below average team. I find that hard to think we were below average team when we were playing short the sping season and no subs in fall season.....Thanks Soccerdad for wishing us good luck...

The None Rovers Beat Aces Black 1 - 0 in the Ayses tournament this weekend. Did not know if they just spelled it wrong for the tournament?
