Does anyone know if the DT South in the prime time tournament is Sal Adams team? I have heard good things about this team for kids this age and wanted to watch a few of their games while I was out at the fields.

I am also interested in watching the Odyssey 02 and Ayses 02 teams as I have heard good things about them as well.

Texans South (Adames) is in the tournament this weekend. I can tell you that AYSES 02 is a very good team. Not sure about Odyssey 02. I haven't seen much of them.

The U9 final between DT South and AYSES was a good game. When these 2 teams play each other it's always a good game.

Yes. I saw the Odyssey/Ayses Game on Saturday and then saw the DT South/Odyssey and Dt. South/ Ayses game on Sunday.

It is clear that DT South is the top of that group. Fun to watch number 10 and 41 on DT South. Those kids are entertaining.

I watched the Od/Ayses game on Sat. It was pretty even. Both clubs have a few strong players and some solid boys. I saw some of the Champ game. DT South is all strong players with a couple of elite boys.

Even then, I think DT South was further ahead of the field at U7 than they are now.

Odyssey looked pretty good out there; I think they tied with Ayses in group play. I got a chance to watch DT South and Ayses in the championship game and I’m pretty impressed with both teams. DT scored the first goal in less than a minute but much respect goes to Ayses for not backing down after getting scored on so quickly, it was a great game to watch.

That Ayses Team had some really strong defense and the kid on left wing was really skilled. Made it fun to watch. Amazing how all those kids could play in that heat and give that kind of effort.

Don't look past fc dallas goncalves. I think that's the name. That the Leon
that came from inwood. I'm looking to see how they play outside vs indoors.

I heard this team is a combo of that Leon team and others. We will see. I know we are looking forward to a good strong season. So Tigre4now no SDL for you this season?

I expect government waste, wealth stratification, and the decline of Western Civ. Just pointing out that, although they dominate now, they were just ridiculously advanced a couple of years ago. Their games are a little more fun to watch now. No slight intended. Shrug.

What happened to Solar Crushers Red and Solar Blue?

Yeah we all know things will start changing over the next couple of years. Clubs are taking 3 or 4 of their best players off of 3-4 teams to create a power team. That's the only way at this point that DT South will be beaten. These kids are having alot of fun, great group to watch.

Things will change and if your King up North has anything to do with it he will come down and swoop the best players. Until then continue to dominate unless a super team is created to dethrone you.

solar crushers red is the blanket name for 3 teams:
crushers white (1st team)
crushers black (2nd team)
crushers red (3rd team)

The coach for DT South also coaches D1 and D2 teams and yes that's always a possibility but that's with every club. FCD Premier teams have been formed over the last 6months. So it's not just DT. Every team gets dethroned so it's not like this is something new.

@futbolista - yes, sunday game was a lot of fun...both on the field and the sidelines. congratulations and much respect from AYSES to DT South. Looking forward to some cooler weather. We played two very hot back to back tournaments like you guys. Summer Classic was a really good one as well, we faced off in the championship with Solar Dynamo, went to a shootout, but came up short.

Speaking of Solar, Ricardinho is putting together a Solar 02B team. We've been playing them indoors and will face off with them for the championship. They are also playing SDL this fall. Definitely want folks to check us out @ AYSES first but with that said, he has coached my dd's team from time to time and is an all around great guy & coach, and should be on folks radar. That Solar Red team was a good bunch of kids, but I think Odyssey slipped past them in a shootout for Third Place. The shootout went all the way to the 7th shooter.

My mistake. Just noticed you were referring to a different Solar Red team than the one that played in the tournament last weekend. Gets confusing with all the colors and names.

AYSES plays an FCD team early on Sat. Will be good to see how things go. Any predictions?

I'm not going to take the bait on that prediction. AYSES has 3 games scheduled in a 24hr period...(2) SDL games and (1)indoor game.

The best part of watching DT South & Ayses other than the game itself is the sidelines. Parents yelling at each other & then at the end of the game, they are shaking hands. Good competition between the kids & parents on both ends.
