I don't think the team belongs in Plano. We had a tough classic qualifier with our goalkeeper no showing. He has since released. Most of the mistakes that were made in the CLQ games were with field players playing the goal keeper roll (ball mishandling). We have a new goal keeper and while it has been difficult, the boys will learn some good life lessons from the entire experience. It has made the team closer.

They have a great opportunity to develop in Plano this year and hopefully challenge next spring.

That first round was definitely tough in Bracket G for round 1. I am glad that you have found a goalie and have faith that you will be in CL next year. Good luck!

Metro played great this weekend.

So, what teams are in D1 and which teams are in D2?

The PPL website says 10 teams in D1 so I am thinking the top 2 teams from each bracket and the next two highest points, but it looks like the last bracket teams played 4 games with everyone else playing three so I dont know how that will pan out

The way that usually works is they take the team's total number of points earned and divide it by the number of games played. So if there was a team that earned 21 points in 3 games (average of 7.0 points per game) and another team that earned 26 points in four games (average of 6.5 points per game) then the team with 21 points would be placed ahead of the team with 26 points. Not sure if that is what they will do here, but it's a likely solution.

Based on that formula you would have Texas Blitz White and FC Dallas Gold advancing. We'll see when they post the final results...

The advancement information doc for U11 boys doesn't say anything about wildcards. It looks like they initially planned on having 5 brackets and then changed to 4.

But it says 10 teams will be in division 1

There will definitely be 10 teams in D1. They just need to sort out the wild cards since they didn't post this for U11 boys. I'm sure the top 2 teams from each bracket are in and then they will add the 2 wild cards.

So that Texans North - Texans Black scored originally posted incorrectly has been adjusted in the placement tournament standings now. This changes the standings in Division E and the wild card teams that will advance. When will PPL post the final results?

The website says PPL starts on the September 7th, so when will the Schedules be posted? anyone know from last year?

Managers meeting Monday, August 30th. Most likely then or a few days after that....should be the entire fall schedule.

Has anyone seen the list of who made D1 and D2 ?
