Hard to play a joke on people that are just too stupid to get the joke. You end up having to explain too much and it loses the humor. It's kinda like trying to explain to your cat why he can't catch the flashlight beam on the floor. It's a pointless exercise, tiring and not funny anymore.

Tomorrow in the early AM I plan to be a little outside Dallas watching some friendly Texans on the field. I expect this little group to be a bit trigger happy given that the quarry they are pursuing on that field is not of a similar quality to that found on some other area fields. Because I don't have a dog in the hunt they probably won't want to talk to me. I also don't have a hunting license this year. Does anyone know how long before sunrise they can begin dove hunting? Am I on the right forum?

Shooting time is 30 min. before sunrise. Sunrise tomorrow in Dallas is 7:03 am. Shoot 'em at 6:33 am if you can see. Hope you knock 'em dead, literally. Bag limit 15. You should be back to the house by 9:00 am.
