Then leave the very large parking area on the tollway side free and the lot on the east side free also these lots were blocked off and used by no one. I feel sorry for the traveling teams with RV'S and trailers they had no place to chill or tailgate. Just a thought.

Probably the same reason a movie theatre or drive-in still charges for the back row.
I do like the VIP parking situation. It would be pretty cool to have a $200/year/all event parking option where you can get premium parking.

Pizza Hut Park is looking into why youth soccer players were forced to pay a fee to use the restrooms at one of its fields.

KDAF-TV (Channel 33) reports that the North Texas Express Football Group was renting a field at Dr. Pink Field at the same time that Frisco Soccer Association teams were playing.

The Frisco Soccer Association players were charged a dollar to use the facilities, parents said.

"I wouldn't want to pay a dollar," Ericka Oliver told Channel 33. "I would just have my son pee outside, probably."

I wonder how much it would have cost if they had to go number 2.

Anyone who played at PHP last Saturday witnessed yet another example of PHP management incompetence. The high temperature that day was around 95 degrees with heat indexes at 103 or higher. The fields were not 100% in use but were very busy in the afternoon between Classic League games and Frisco Soccer Assn games. And...the concession stand was CLOSED! So PHP needs money so much that they charge $7 for tournament parking, however they can't manage to open the concession stand (with associated 500% gross margins)?

There was no wind and it was really brutal out there - lots of folks did not bring enough water. They could have charged pretty much what they wanted for water, gatorade, etc., but they didn't bother to open the concessions. On top of that they have tons of vending machines in the complex and I have never seen one that works. Ridiculous - give me Richland anytime.

I've always wondered who owned the vending machines as well. Lots of lost money there every night/weekend.

Guess they are just trying to help out those without urinal cash.

Agreed. It was ridiculous. There was an "OUT OF ORDER" sign posted on every single vending machine in the entire complex. And, some of those signs were torn and tattered like they had been taped to the machines for weeks or months. I originally thought it was to force people to the concession stand to buy $3 instead of $2 water bottles, but as corner said, even that was closed. The grass is nice at PHP but beyond that it is not a parent/players friendly facility.

Yes Richland seems a little more customer friendly, but it sure is a long hike when your little one needs to go and your on field #1.

I always wondered why they wouldn't have replaced the forestjohn with some with actual plumbing. I had heard the cement structure just North of field 9 was meant to be a bathroom - but, apparently, it's just for hazing and sacrificial use now.

Richland is closer for me personally, but the biggest problem(s) I have with those fields are the bathrooms (circa 1940) and the entrance/exit - it would be sooo much easier if there were another exit on the Southern side of the school. At least their concession stand is open most days - the satellite kiosk is pretty nice as well.

Just think of the money that kiosk would make if they pulled it over to PHP. On second thought...might be a good fundraising project for anyone with a CostCo card and lots of coolers! Idea

Nice way to keep the little sister or brother busy during the game. Give them a cooler full of drinks and let them sell them to the thirsty patrons!

Well, if Pizza the Hut lets you bring drinks in, they would probably charge youa vendor fee as well as parking for the cart. And of course, it would be limited to Pepsi products.
