With rain scheduled until Thursday evening, past experience tells me that there will be no games this weekend.

I am thinking no games on Sat. I don't think the fields will be dry enough. The rescheduling chaos has begun. Just about all the fields are closed for today's games. At this rate we will be playing into December. Hope no one plans on going anywhere for Thanksgiving or Christmas.lol

The Almanacs are predicting a very wet November and a hard January/February....always during the season!

what classic games were scheduled for tonight? Chaos? Classic league does a good job on resceduling. Even if they moved Sat/Sun game to the end of the season you are still done by the second week in Nov. RELAX!!!!

Sat. morning if you are lucky. We have driven 1.5 hours to Frisco, to be told the game was canceled, when we got there. Checked game status the whole way there.

Just the way it is. They do their best to get the games in. If they let us play on muddy fields, we would complain for the rest of the season about how bad the fields sucked.

I'm pretty sure in this case CL will announce cancellations by Friday afternoon - maybe even earlier since many areas got 8" of rain in the last 24 hours. Richland is more likely to go forward with games than PHP - at least some of the Richland fields drain very well (but not all).

Chaos from a parent/player stand point not the league. They do a great job of rescheduling, it is always just a mess when you are trying to schedule other things in life (not much of a life besides soccer...) as you are up in the air on rescheduled games. No worries, though!

FSA generally uses fields 3 and 10, both turf fields; so, it is not surprising to see that.

    From Classic League:

At this time, barring further rainfall, we will be playing all games this weekend. If we should get more rain tonight, this could change. PLEASE MANAGERS ONLY call the Hotline and Check the website for this information, DO NOT CALL THE OFFICE, prior to leaving for the fields in the event of further rainfall.
