    Wow

IF you can't run with TFC on a big field, and premier can't, I guess that is what happens.

TFC and DT Gall both made big statements this weekend already. Great results.

TFC came to play this morning and pressured FCD all over the field with speed and physical play. FCD keeper made a couple of fantastic saves to keep the game close early on. The first five minutes most of the play was in the FCD defensive zone. It seems it was middle of the 2nd half before FCD had a decent scoring chance at that point it was 4 - 0.

    Solar (Partain)2, TFC White 0
    Wizards 3, FWFC 0

Only 3 matches have not been posted on CL.

Definitely some statements were made today by TFC Wells and DT Gall. They were the only two blowouts and against highly ranked and regarded teams. "As the 00 turns" continues to be exciting and I would love to hear some others thoughts on matches or portions of matches that were watched.

It was an ugly game, but this is not representing it properly. 2 scores both late in the game. Only one on a free kick.

Neither team looked solid. No rhythm...but, in the end, the score is the score.

I saw an Andro/FCD game at 8 this morning, anyone know the outcome. I think it was 4-1 FCD. I am pretty sure they were 2000s. Just wanted to know the final... I felt bad for Andro as it appeared one of ther better players showed up 10 minutes after start time. The kid even jumped the fence (game on Field 15) to get to the bench quicker. I thought it was Andro, could be wrong.

Maybe the CL website could tell you that Andro (McLemore) played FCD and lost 3-1. Not sure if that was the game you saw since you are not sure as well.

Still here. Busy week. Although my scores might have been a little off, I got 9 of 15 (60%) correct last week. Not too bad. Would have least made my money back. Ha.

    Division 1

    TFC 2 FCD 1 CORRECT
Solar Red 2 Texans 2 INCORRECT
TFC White 1 Solar 3 CORRECT
Odyssey 2 Andro Red 1 INCORRECT
    Strikers 0 Bandits 3 CORRECT
Liverpool 1 FCD East 4 CORRECT
Tigres 0 Texans Red 2 CORRECT
Toros 1 Andro White 1 INCORRECT (but close)
Tejanos 3 ASG 2 INCORRECT (along with everyone else)
FWFC 0 Wizards 3 CORRECT (and the correct score)

Thoughts: TFC was pissed about PLD and took it out on FCD.
Texans are the real deal. We'll see if TFC can make it closer.
So much for the two PLD finalists.
Odyssey (PLD Silver winner) can't play with the big boys. They were in Silver bracket for a reason.
Strikers remain scrappy and almost pull one off but seeming to have trouble. Lost 1-0 to PPL Liverpool in PLD. Why can't they score?
    FCD East moving up fast
ASG underestimated by all maybe and Tejanos overestimated by all maybe
Wizards seem to be a riddle yet to be solved. Beat solidly by TFC in PLD, tie eventual winner SR, lose to Bandits. ??? Can they play with the big clubs? Yet to be seen.

    Division 2

    FCD 5 Andro 1 CORRECT
    Hurst 4 Storm 1 CORRECT
    Chivas 4 TFC 0 INCORRECT
    Texans 3 Mitlan 2 CORRECT
    Longview 2 Comets 0 INCORRECT

This whole group seems to be a riddle.
FCD loses to Chivas 4-0 in PLD. May be a long year for Andro.
Hurst comes back after a 4-2 loss to Longview in the PLD. Don't know much about Kernow.
Chivas lose two tough games to Odyssey in PLD and then tie a TFC team they just beat 5-2. ???
Texans are more than 1 goal better than Mitlan but didn't see this game so not sure what went on.
Longview (another PLD finalist) loses to dark horse Comets after tight game (1-0) with Stikers and beating Hurst and Liverpool in PLD.

Oh, I wonder what week 3 will bring us!! Tons of excitement for sure.

Same thing happened with Solar Red against the Bandits. Bandits dominate ball possession, outshoot 10 or 12 to 2, Solar scores on 2 free kicks late in 2nd half. Final 2-1. Bandits killed themselves not putting in chippies. Solar had a pretty amazing run through PLD. Are they best team in that tourney? Hmm......have to give them due credit--they found a way to win those games. If I was on the otherside of the score, I would take it Very Happy

You guys are making this confusing (well, not necessarily you guys, but it is confusing). There are two Solar teams, Solar (Partian) and Solar Red (Adame). There are two TFC teams, TFC (Wells) and TFC White (Schell) (there is a third TFC team, TFC Blue (Garrett), but I don't think they were mentioned). Solar (Partain) played TFC While (Schell) this past Saturday and Solar (Partain) won that game 2-0. I assume that is what soccer00 was referring to in his post. Solar Red (Adame) played the Bandits in the first game of the PLD and Solar Red (Adame) won 2-1. Then, Solar (Partain) lost to Bandits 2-1 in the PLD quarterfinals. I assume that jimulon6 was referring to the Solar Red (Adame) v. Bandits group play game of the PLD in his post.

Just wanted to clarify that we are discussing different teams in the CL regular season and PLD. Right?

Solar Red won the tourney, Solar Red was in the group of death, I'm talking about Solar Red. Partain is a good team, too. Solar Partain is always listed as just "Solar". Solar Red is always Solar Red. Hope that helps.

Watching the TFC White team a bit they are a stout defensive team. The attack now seems to be developing (assuming the Solar (Partain) match is a good indicator). I am interested in how they will develop in the CL over the rest of the Fall season.
