American Academy of Soccer - 02 boys - Phillips

Post by GoldenLefty on 6/20/2017, 4:08 pm

American Academy of Soccer has arrived !
With our own fields centrally located at Custer & Legacy. Check us out on Facebook.
REASONABLE FEES, AND THE BEST PART ....NO MANDATORY CLUB FUNDRAISERS !

For 02 Boys - Phillips
We now have a couple of slots available.
Are you looking for an environment that actually teaches the game, nurtures talent, and wants the player to fulfill his full potential? That is our goal at AAS.
The best way is to just come out to a practice and see if all fits, right?
Mondays & Wednesdays 7-8.30

Or contact coach George Phillips 469 877 7474 for more information.
(Formerly LFCA 02 Keegan.)

Thanks Coach

My son was coached by Coach Phillips from 2004 -2008 and I should really say he was “taught” instead of coached.  From the basic first touch to learning to play without the ball he helped develop his game and grow his confidence.  We really enjoyed the years he played under him and you can tell the kids follow him year after year. He cares about the kids but to his credit the boys care about him. My son is now at Arkansas but he will stop by to say hello (when in town) if he sees the fields at Legacy and Custer are busy.

I was that parent that hung up the whistle to enjoy my days as a dad watching Brendan develop and it is really crucial you get the right coach. I would say the biggest attribute a coach should have is his ability to communicate to the kids.  Now that I am "teaching" right next to him it is clear why my son learned so fast.
It's not what you teach but how you explain the game.
