3 goals in 7 min is not a goalkeeper issue it is a defensive one. The best way to prevent goals is to play better defense and not allow good shots on goal. It's not the goalkeepers job to play in a firing range.

Read this a little closer and have determined that UEFAfan was speaking of the winning team that had the goalie issues. Thought this was a no no to call out specific kids on this site?? Not only is this coward calling out a specific kid, he's doing it to one that's on the same team as his bb. In addition, it's the second time he has done it. i have to admit that i have no bb that's a 99, but have followed the age group for a couple of years b/c of the talent and insanity of it's parents. This takes the cake in my opinion. Backstabbing your sons teammate on a public forum. A new low for NTX soccer IMO.

In all seriousness, that comment by UEFA fan was un-called for and not sure the reason for it but it seems to be a personal one. I don't know who UEFA fan is but hopefully it's not somebody on our team.

Speaking of players, how is our '99 "chosen one" doing this year? I heard he was playing double up, which is a huge undertaking at this age. Has it proven to be too much or a great challenge for his exceptional talent?

saw him at practice and he seemed to be having a great time. His play also looked much better than last season. I think the new team is a perfect fit
