DALLAS TEXANS SC 99B (GALL) BARCELONA 99B (GARCIA)-I think DTX are the underdogs? DTX parents, it's ok. It's going to be alright. Take deep breath and rub your ears. OOOOOOOsaaaaaaawwwwwww. Tie game.

SOLAR SC 99B BLUE (CHARLES) TEXAS TITANS WEST 99B- If the Titans can play 60 minutes and not give up like they did against DTS and Andromeda, they will win. Solar Blue has no goals in two games. TX TITANS wins.

COMETS SC 99B BLUE (BADII) ANDROMEDA SC 99B RED (LEITE)- FOULROMEDA wins. The Lenny's will stomp, forearm, and cleat the Comets defense. I think a red card is long overdue.

DALLAS TEXANS SC 99B SOUTH (HERNANDEZ) TEXAS GUNNERS 99B- DTS will win. DTS has the weakest defense of the unbeatens. And it's not their goalie. 6 GF's and 3 GA. Gunners will pack their defensive 1/3 and run a 9-1 formation.

FC DALLAS YOUTH 99B PREMIER (PINO) SOLAR SC 99B RED- SOLAR RED will win. They looked good against DTX. Great game. They will ride the wave. Good Job.

DTX V Barca-DTX still has to be the fovorite here but if barca can stick to their style of play and not bye into trying to physically match a bigger team they could make this an interesting game. GOW But I think this weeks bruising has DTX hungry again. DTX

Solar blue V TT west- This game is up in the air and an important game for deciding who will stay in D1. Both teams will be around the drain with at least 1 going down. TT gets the win here.

Comets V Andro-Fouldromeda lol. That's too good. They do run over comets here. Thats okay, comets focus should be on the other bottom half teams.

DTS v Gunners-DTS wins and the play defense like last years Real Madrid, with very aggressive offense. Gunners will not be able to hold back the onslaught. Baby Bro might be hungry now that Sir Gall has left the door wide open and the Crown unguarded.

Pino v Solar red- One of these will not finish in the top half. Solar red can send the message that the last game was not just a benefit of a bad day by sir Gall and Red is for real. Pino can step forward to show they deserve the name premier. Going with Nuno and the Red boys don't let me down and let's make D1 more interesting.

Aren't you the one that has been whining about Barcelona's rough play? I understand one of your players got injured badly but the whining started before that game.

lets keep my pix on a roll! What a Face
Barcelona and DTX come to a draw
Andro Red will roll over Comets
    DTS will outgunn the Gunners
Solar Azul will take yet another loss and lose to the Titans
Solar Red will show the last game was no fluke with yet another win! Cool

*disclaimer* these are just fun opinions not to be taken personally nor does this mean that any of these teams or in no way on their way out of D1. Shocked

I am all for aggressive play, just not dirty play. We have some bigger kids on our team and just because an opponent goes flying after a tackle or such, doesn't mean it was a foul. How many yellow/red cards did we get that last game?

Axx, FOULROMEDA is simply a great name for you guys. I watched your last game against Titans; less than 10 feet away from me, facing me (back to the ref) I saw one of your big boy using his elbow to push a kid in the back when the ball was already out of bounds. There was simply no reason to do that, the ball was gone and the play was over.

Admit it, your team has some big players that really enjoy their size and one thing you really, really can't do anymore is whine about how physical the other teams are.

Gonna jump in for a little Axx andro defense here. It's only a foul if the ref calls it. Andro is a big physical team that plays to the way NTX calls the game.

    DTX V BARCELONA; DTX 2-0
SOLAR BLUE V TEXAS TITANS; 1-1 TIE
ANDROMEDA RED V COMETS BLUE; ANDRO RED 3-1
    DTS V GUNNERS; DTS 3-1
FCD PREMIER V SOLAR RED; TIE 1-1 (MATCH OF THE WEEK)

Notes: DTX has too much speed/control for Barca (again). SB and TTW scrapping for bottom of D1. Andro Red too much for Blue. Gunners not enough for DTS. FCD Premier and SR both in must win games.

Well lets see how SR does this week. A loss would really bring that win in to question as a one off resulting from a bad day in the kingdom for Sir Gall. A win might suggest that the "big dog" from the solar yard deserves some consideration in the fight at the top.

Something funny about the loss for DTX : my, very rude, 03 boy came to Sir Gall and told him his 99 lost against a team his 00 beat a few weeks before! There was not much that could be said...
Hey as far as whining, I don't remember seeing or hearing any of the DT parents yelling, shouting, cursing or complaining to the ref during or after that lost (well, maybe some French cuss words but nothing in English). Did you ?

I may be fooling myself but possession wise I would say that DT had at least 70% against 30%. Now, it is not enough to move the ball around, you have to do something with it.
SR proved it very well: DT lost a ball in the middle, SR made a pass then one deflection and one power shot in the box. Within 10 seconds they were leading the game 1-0 after an awesome goal.

hmmm.... who won again? passing backward and side to side gets you how many goals? 0 perhaps? but it looks good and kills the clock also and I thought the object of the game was to move foward and find the net? scratch

at least until you get older and pushing the ball forward as quickly as possible no longer works. In big boy soccer possesion usually wins the game (but not always)

It was an interesting game to watch. DTX did not have a good day and that was obvious. The real surprise was SR. They used to be a possession team but in this game it was just pure aggression and attacking the ball. It was not dirty in any way and very effective. They won but I think they took a step back as a soccer team to do it. The constant substitutions were pretty obvious attempt to kill any momentum that DTX was trying to build.

lol seeing that SR was more in attack mode then dtx wouldn't all the subbing hurt their own momentum? was dtx really having a bad day? or was it more like SR just simply outplaying them? this is not the first time SR has had them down but like last season dtx was able to salvage a draw, the only difference this time was they "couldn't score" to get a draw! no biggie they are still a top team and will bounce back but for somebody to say SR "took a step backwards" please thats clearly sour grapes Rolling Eyes

For the record, SR was more in a defensive mode, packing their side more often than not, with one ready in offense. Opportunity came when DT made a bad pass and lost possession, otherwise, it was a 70/30 game. Hard to be dominated when you possess the ball 70% of the game, I'd say. No sour grapes from the DT parents, whom I found very admirable in their muted reactions...not exactly what we were forewarned about prior to joining the team.
    Glad we didn't listen.

For the record, SR was more in a defensive mode, packing their side more often than not, with one ready in offense. Opportunity came when DT made a bad pass and lost possession, otherwise, it was a 70/30 game. Hard to be dominated when you possess the ball 70% of the game, I'd say. No sour grapes from the DT parents, whom I found very admirable in their muted reactions...not exactly what we were forewarned about prior to joining the team.
    Glad we didn't listen.
I understand but for txlongball to say SR "took a step backwards"??? come on please Rolling Eyes just congradulate the kids and coach and move on its way to early in the season to predict who will rain supreme if anything it just shows people there is NO one team who will never lose! Cool
