Bobby Rhine Invitational presented by MoneyGram

The Bobby Rhine Invitational presented by MoneyGram enters it's seventh year and is pleased to announce that it will be an AUTOMATIC QUALIFYING tournament for the Dr Pepper Dallas Cup XXXIX. The tournament will be held on November 24-26, 2017 at the Toyota Soccer Center in Frisco, TX and is hosted by FC Dallas Youth. All USYSA and US Club Soccer teams are invited to apply and compete against select international teams that have been invited.

Automatic qualification opportunities will be provided in the U13, U14, U15*, and U16 age groups for the Dallas Cup XXXIX to be held on March 25-April 1, 2018. Please contact the Tournament Director for details or visit the FC Dallas website.

The Bobby Rhine Invitational presented by MoneyGram is for GIRLS AND BOYS teams.

7v7 team registration fees are $495 (Academy)
9v9 team registration fees are $595 (U11-U12)
11v11 team registration fees are $695 (U13-U16)

Bobby Rhine spent more than a decade with FC Dallas both as a player and a member of the front office. After ending his playing career following the 2008 season, he remained as a key figure with the club making valuable contributions in both community development and broadcasting. Bobby was selected in the First Round (6th overall) in the 1999 MLS Super Draft. During his career, Rhine appeared in 212 games for Dallas, making 136 starts and playing more than 12,000 minutes. He scored 23 goals and recorded 34 assists. his goals total is good for eight all-time in the FC Dallas record books, while his assists total ranks fourth behind Jason Kreis, Oscar Pareja, and Ronnie O'Brien. The 35-year-old passed away suddenly on Monday evening, Sept. 5, 2011.
