The 96 Tornados Red team is no longer listed on the Tornado website. Guess they already have folded. What a waste of time and money.

you sound just like your name, a soccer dad who does not have a clue. The team did not fold, it was not taken off the website. Its a new team. The new website has not been created yet. The team had a unfortunate few events on Tuesday that led to the forfiet. The team asked plano 3 times not to re-schedule games on Tuesday night due to middle school football. The team played with 10 and 11 the other two times, but this time there were others out with illness and injury. Not good, but it did not fold the team.

next time maybe do the adult things in check into the facts before making a statement like that. Its people like you that ruin the sport for others.

The 96 age group should mostly be high school freshmen, with maybe one or two kids playing up. Middle school football shouldn't be a consideration for this age group.

Ouch-I would think that most of your players would be in High School by now-guess you have several 97's on your team which is why they are playing middle school football. Do you think you will be competitive in any games this year once you have your full team available? I wonder why your team is not on the website?

Yes and Yes - There are some 97's playing up and that is the isssue, some of the 96's are also playing for their freshman football team, JV, etc.
Yes , every new team struggles at the beggining. nothing new. We will be competitive come spring.

Good luck-most new teams (and especially one that is the clubs 3rd team in an age group that plays in Plano D2)have a poor record of making it the second year. The fact that you needed 97's to make will make it especially hard of having a returning team next year. Winning games will help, but if you continue to lose your chances are slim.

i have seen tornados red twice now and they are improving. more organised.better play. personally i think plano should have made 3 leagues. there is a clear difference in ability between the top seven teams in plano 2 and the bottom seven. this would have made it more enjoyable for all teams concerned.

Soccer Dad - We will focus on next year when next year comes.. Not to worried about it now.
Thanks for the kind words Football - They are improving weekly and will only get better in time. This last game they figured a big piece ofthe puzzle out and came off the field with a better understanding of the system of play they are in.

Just curious if you are Aces' parent or xTreme.

Cause for xTreme's parents it looked like 1st half of the game, central ref was wearing "red" t-shirt with "Aces" on the back .

I know, parent's opinion always biased, but ...

personally i thought the ref made some bad calls against aces in the second half. some of the yellows were very soft . but then again every time the ref makes a call one team likes it and the other doesnt.
