Where is everyone playing the weekend before Thanksgiving?

Texans or Xara?

There were several listed in another thread a week or so ago.

Aces Fall Challenge
Waco Fall Competitive
Swords Fall Classic
Texas Winter Classic (not on NT website, but is on GotSoccer)
Hurst United

Waco Competitive is the week before Xara and Texans... I did not know about Hurst.

Does not seem that any parents know where they are going to play.

North Texas calendar has Waco the same weekend as the others but I just noticed that the calendar also lists the Aces tournament list the weekend of 12-14th.

The Waco listed on the NTX calendar is their Rec Tournament. The Competitive Tournament is the weekend before.

The Waco Competitive is the same weekend as ACES and the Waco Rec is the same weekend as the Xara and Texans.

Why are you and I the only people discussing any of this? 400+ people have looked and no one has said anything. Too early for people to know where they are going?

Is there a way to see the results and/or accepted teams for each of these tournaments from last year? That might at least give us all an idea.

That is a good question. I am just trying to find out where to go to find the best competition. I know we are not ready for the Texans D1 group but I certainly wouldn't mind getting on the pitch with some of the top PPI and Second and Third Tier classic teams. HOWEVER ... at the moment everyone seems to be playing it close to the vest.

The final registration on most of those are still a few days out and of course they will not post until after the registration deadline. You know how these tournaments are.

Yes, I know how they refuse to tell anyone and then its a big surprise when they release the accepted teams list--and sometimes they end up with 4-5 teams in your age group with no semifinals and finals and you only get 3-4 pool play games. I was wondering if there was a way to look at the lists from the 2009 tournaments and see who played where last year.

Many tournaments will have links to previous year's results on their website. If they don't you might be able to do a google search and find it in gotsoccer (if they used gotsoccer to track). Just search something like "Texans Fall Festival 2009 Schedules" (or whatever tournament you are interested in). If they didn't use gotsoccer then you're probably out of luck
