    98 D1 & D2 predictions

Post  M Patient on Tue Oct 12, 2010 2:00 pm

#836 8:00 AM TFC 98B (ANGELL) DALLAS TIGRES ACADEMY 98B GOLD (MEDINA) Richland #05 Tigres 2-1
#837 8:00 AM TFC 98B ROYAL (CASTRO) DALLAS TEXANS SC 98B (CRAFT) Richland #02 TFC Royal 2-0
#838 8:00 AM SOLAR SC 98B RED (DELEON) ANDROMEDA SC 98B (GENTILE) Richland #03 Solar Red 2-0
#839 8:00 AM SOLAR SC 98B (SMITH) REAL MADRID 98B (AREVALO) Richland #01 Solar 5-0
#840 8:00 AM KICKS FC 98B (CASTANEDA) FC DALLAS PREMIER (PREV. REVOLUTION PREMIER) SC 98B (OANCEA) Pizza Hut Park #05 FC Dallas 3-2

Kicks may win one more game this Fall and Texans may win 2 more. TFC should win 2 of the last 4 and stay in 5th or 6th place. Texans just aren't outstanding, but Andromeda is just plain disappointing.

#881 8:00 AM FORT WORTH FC 98B WHITE (VINCENT) LIVERPOOL 98B (GUERRERO) Richland #07 FWFC 3-2
#882 8:00 AM DFW TEJANOS 98B PREMIER (MOLANO) LIVERPOOL 98B BABEL (RAVESTIJIN) Richland #08 Tie 1-1
#883 8:00 AM HURST UNITED FC 98B BLACK (ASFOUR) DALLAS TEXANS SC 98B RED (CONNELL) Pizza Hut Park #12 Tie 0-0
#885 8:00 AM TEXAS LONGHORNS SC 98B GOLD (OBARA) FC DALLAS YOUTH 98B BLUE (RENFRO) Pizza Hut Park #09 Ayses Gold 3-0
#884 12:30 PM PUMAS ELITE SC 98B (REYNA) TEXAS LONGHORNS SC 98B ORANGE (DAVIS) Pizza Hut Park #14 Pumas 3-0

Pumas, Tejanos and Ayses Gold are going to fight for the top 2 spots. Liverpool (CC) will face Tejanos this week and AG in 2 wks that will show if they are in the fight. Ayses Orange? showed alot of character against their other team but need to bring that passion each week if they don't want to end up in the cellar at the end of spring.

My opinions have been known to be slightly off in the past, feel free to counter if I'm missing something. tongue

Oh, come on Free! How are we going to scoreboard each other if you almost agree with everything?

I'll take Liverpool CC 2-1 over Tejanos! Can't take Hurst though, just to much of a reach.

No, can't take hurst this weekend; my impression is that the Texans Red have stepped it up a notch.

I'm really surprised that the Pumas have been tied twice already, I was looking for them to win every week in this division. I wonder whether they have had any defections?

I can't see the Babelers knocking off Tejanos; Tejanos has too much offense.

Misfired on this one though: FCD Blue 1 - Longhorns (Ayses?) Gold 0. Guess the Longhorns (Ayses?) Orange tie with the Gold was no fluke.

FCD blue is a talented team that just can't seem to get it together with the lineup/positions. Today was one of those days it came together and maybe next week a whole new situation.

I heard that the Ayses are missing their center midfielder to a hamstring pull. He is an excellent player and much of their offense went thru him.

I hear much of their offense goes thru the forward and he was there. So not sure who was missing or wasn't but it wouldn't have mattered.

Hmm; was the other team missing any players? We can only win if The Man is there.

Having watched the Ayses Gold v FCD Blue game - neither team should be happy with their performance. It was a sloppy, turnover after turnover game, by both sides. FCD scored on a turnover on the backline and all of the scoring chances were a result of turnovers by both teams. Plain and simple it was an ugly game and FCD finished their only legit scoring opportunity and the Ayses did not.

must not have watched the whole game. You missed the one in the back of the net with a phantom offsides call by FCD or the no call on the handball in the box. Also 1 saved by the keeper in the upper 90 and another wide open shot put over the goal. The game was about as sloppy as can be expected but was not a case of one opportunity each. FCD had the better of the play spending a majority of the time in the attacking third with occasional counterattacking runs by the longhorns. BTW I know why I was stuck there, question is why were you there watching a D2 98 game you are not involved in at 8AM? I certianly would not have been there.
