Last year our team signed up for this tourney. It rained. Some games were played Fri night. We did not get to play at all and no refund. Beware.

It looks like all the teams that were in the tourney last year will get a 50% discount this year. That should help! Very Happy

Haven't seen anything in awhile. When will they post accepted teams?

Looks like the schedules are out. Also looks like the tournament folks have some things to fix with the 99 boys scheduling and bracket assignments.

There are a lot of problems with many of the different age groups, including playing four games in one day and playing back to back with no rest time Shocked Hope these get fixed within the next few days

Looks like there are three duplicated teams in the 99 boys groups. I wish they would get this corrected if it is a mistake sothe schedule could be set.

On the surface it looks like USC United 99B Black, Texas Titans West Black 99B, and DFW Tornados 99B White are all in multiple brackets.

If these clubs were bringing two teams, wouldn't they have slightly different names for the two teams?

Pretty sure the Tornados 99's have a Blue and White. And you are right they are all listed as white. I think both teams are going to be there though.

It now has a USC UNITED 1 99B BLACK listed in bracket A and USC UNITED 2 99B BLACK listed in bracket D. I'd guess that means the top United team is in bracket A.

They now show two different Texas Titans teams - TEXAS TITANS WEST BLACK 99B in bracket B and TEXAS TITANS WEST CATES 99B in bracket C.

The only issue still showing is with the Tornados. They now have Blue in bracket D. But they also show White in both brackets B and C! scratch

Also show a 2:45 game at one facility and a 4:00 game at another facility for both the Titans and AYSES. WOW, could have given them a chance to go to the restroom before their second game.

Truly one of the most poorly run and scheduled tournaments I have ever had the pleasure of participating in.
First games set back to back, then schedule changed to have 4 games in one day with separation, then one game moved to Friday night at 10pm.
The age group is U11 and the boys played that 10pm game, but the field was running behind and it started at 10:40pm on Friday night.
Return on Saturday for next three games 4pm, 6:30pm, and 9:15pm. Field was double booked so second game bumped to 7:15. At the same time
another field was scheduled and had no lights. The two girls teams played the game in the dark using the cast off light from the other fields.
No field marshall at our location and was initially asked to drive to Hurst to report the score. We were in Grapevine by the lake.

Just awful and who schedules 10 year old boys to play at 10pm at night. Evil or Very Mad
    We won't be back....

The u12 had horrible scheduling issues. One team in two different brackets and were told to pick which group they wanted to play in. Two games on Saturday were scheduled ba k to back at two different locations. After hurrying to the second location, we find out that it was a forfeit. Had quarter finals listed and would have advanced only to find out Saturday evening that they decided to only have semi finals. No explanation given. Not much fun as the kids were only able to playoff two games this weekend.

sounds about like what we had. Was in bracket A... showed up at the field - currently being watered on one end. No lines. Keeper box might as well have been pavement. Moved game with about 10min to kickoff. Hurst United was in our bracket, but they weren't even PLAYING (we told them this when the initial schedule came out because we used THREE of their players as GUESTS!) Ended up playing only two games as well, and since they went straight to semi-finals, thats all we got in. I'm hoping we never go back. Too many tourney options for that weekend to F it up that bad. Unacceptable.

Our club won't be back either. We were in the U12s. First game was moved at the last minute from one field to another field in the same park because the first field was double booked. The field they moved us to was a U10 field with U10 goals. The field was way too small for 22 twelve year olds. The refs for that game were barely conscious.

Nobody knew what to do about the playoffs. The poor field marshall kept trying to get somebody on the phone to tell her which teams were playing each other and on which fields - at our third facility in two days. We had it set - so we thought. At the last minute, she got word to change the match ups. Play was delayed for nearly 15 minutes while it got sorted out.

What is most unbelievable to me is that the HOST CLUB's own 99 team did not show up! That speaks volumes to me.

Yes we were. The worst thing was seeing the disappointment the kids had when they found out the quarters had been eliminated. We will be going elsewhere next year. Yep, we were the targets in the turkey shoot.

Does anyone know if the U12 boys final took place? It just shows" none" where the score should be posted.

Yes, Texas Titans West 99 Cates beat Fort Worth United 99 Gold 2-1 in a hard fought match. Titans could have scored more and FWU had several chances to tie it a the end but all of the boys played hard and gave it their all. Good showing from both teams.

Who is Fort Worth United 99 Gold? They beat several Classic division teams en-route to the finals? They only lost the final 2-1 to a Classic D1 team? WOW. Says a lot for Fort Worth United 99 Gold or it says Classic League teams are not all that.

I think FWU 99B Gold is a very talented team playing in the APL....

I thought that the Titans were the only classic d1 team in the u12 bracket. The Tornados white are d3 if I am not mistaken. Any how, congrats to both of the finalists for a job well done.

No one said there was more than one D1 classic league team. So you are only classic league if you are in D1!

Can't wait to see the D3 South Hernandez team and FWU match up in the challenge tourney next summer. If you know the history of the teams, there's a lot of "good blood/bad blood" all at the same time. Unfortunate on how all that worked out, but interesting to say the least.

bad blood in a "good sport" sense... about 5/6 of the FWU team were teammates of 5/6 of the old DT Tarrant team that disbanned last summer. The teams will end up knowing each other fairly well.
