Agree. Wasn't Southlake C. hosting one this weekend too?

I do think onetenguy is right: Jesuit's run has ended and rightly so. They were able to get away with the recruiting thing for a few seasons and then BAM the door was closed. I believe all roads to state will lead thru Coppell and Marcus.

You crack me up Oneten...only hear from you once Highschool season starts. As you know teams get on rolls and you can't ever tell once you get in the playoffs. I'm sure Jesuit will be fine...after all they do have a pipeline Very Happy

Not sure what has changed to "close the recruiting door". Of course I am not convinced that Jesuit ever "recruited" to begin with. If so why aren't they great in other sports? Why aren't they dominating football or basketball especially - it seems for revenue purposes those would be the sports to "recruit" if you were going to do such a thing, not soccer.

If you look at Jesuit's rosters they appear pretty loaded again from Varsity through the Freshman team. Will they win state every year? No, but neither will anyone else. Will Jesuit win a whole bunch more than they lose and will they continue to have a good shot to make it to state? Looks to me that the answer is "Yes". Same can be said for Coppell, Marcus, and some others in NTX (look out for Southlake this season).

You might want to check out last year's Jesuit basketball team - they were pretty good. I believe they lost in the regional quarterfinals. Not bad for a little 900 student school. LOL!
