I haven't really seen too many of these games but the few I have seen were more defensive line ups from the API and PPL teams so yes the score will be low! but heres something to take note ALL classic league teams change their line ups every season sometimes for the better and sometimes for the worse and what I have witnessed is that team coming from API or PPL are teams that have the same bunch thru academy that got crushed by ALL classice league teams back then so what has happened is they have learned to play better as a team unlike the revolving door known as a classic league soccer! good example United was dominant in PPL and is doing very well in D3 and are one of my picks to fininsh in the top 2 spots,now they don't have not one superstar on that team(no go to player) just a team that has been together for years and knows each other well! now my view on the teams to be relegated from D3... FCD Black who not only to this point has yet to win they have yet to score although they don't belong in classic league(gift from the by the folding of FCD Blue) they do move the ball around quite nicely and the DTRS squad can play and beat anybody out there but the lack of team unity hurts them the most the battle for 9th spot is between them and Tejanos

Hmmm, I would disagree with the APL teams being the same kids but just getting better. FWU has at least 8 new players this year and TXL may have that many as well. I would say both of those teams have improved based on kids switching teams; just like the classic league teams you mentioned.

I agree that they are good defensively but according to gotsoccer FWU has put the ball in the net 61 times in just 17 games; to me that means they know how to score as well. Of course, that could be attributed to the competition they play week in and week out. I am surprised they haven't played in any tournaments this year. It looks like TXL fits your defensive description; they have only scored 54 goals in 30 games.

yea sure looks that way but when we saw them in that tournament I thought they be tough but i guess without those 3 Andro navy players helping out their just not the same!

That is the tough thing about considering tournament results. You never know how many guest players a team has.
