I am sure they could beat them. I don't know how many tries it would take.

My guess and it is only a guess is if they played 5 times against Marcus or Coppell, Wakeland would lose twice, they would tie twice and win once. But who knows with teenagers.

Agreed about district play, and for what it's worth, the DMN has boys soccer ranked as follows:

    1. Frisco Wakeland
    2. Coppell
    3. Marcus
    4. Southlake
    5. Plano
    6. FW Nolan
    7. Keller
    8. Colleyville Heritage
    9. Plano East
    10.McKinney

I agree with most but maybe not positions. How can Coppell be ranked 2 with 3 losses. Colleyville played in a weak preseason and in a weak district. FW Nolan? I would never rank a TAPPS team in the top 10.

What's wrong with private schools being ranked in the top 10? Maybe it's the whole recruiting arguement. Never works...agreed with Colleyville...Coppell had 2 pre-season warm-up losses, but has since gone 9-1-1 through tourney play. Their only loss being to Strake Jesuit. 2-1.

Its called lack of competition. Let the private schools have their rankings and public have their rankings. I see now with Coppells preseason. Injuries and grades can always happen....but 8-5A & 7-5a are STACKED!!! One of the these teams will go through Regionals.
