Silly poll : who had to move furnitures ?

Post  gababa on Wed Feb 02, 2011 1:10 pm

2 days stuck at home. So, who had to move furnitures in order to allow some soccer in the house ?
Optional question #1 : did it become competitive ?
Optional question #2 : how much did it cost you in damaged and repairs ?

Not me! but I did have my butt handed to me several times at FIFA 11. Ouch I hate to hear a 12 year old talk smack to his nice loving father! hmmmm! think I will go home today and kick the crap out of him at Tecmobowl!

Removed the lamp and have now watched two days of non stop 1 v 1 soccer with my 2 sons. They even convinced Grandma to be goalie for a while! We never have a table in our living room as way too much soccer goes on in there.

Don't feel bad, I stopped playing video game after my 10 years old began spanking me consistently at various video games. I don't even want to talk about soccer (the real game) where I now look like a complete fool next to my pre-teenager. My only salvation is pinball. There I still dominate.

I think I can still dominate my kids at pinball too. I love it when we come across an old Galaga or Pac-Man arcade game and I get to set them up for an old school butt-kicking. They are so surprised when I take the time to stop, get some change and challenge them, only to later realize dad has strategically chosen the time and place which presents an old school game that I can rock. This presents one of the very few chances for me to beat them at anything electronic, so I take opportunity to rub it in good!

I've done that in the past and ended up with a broken lamp and blinds. Luckly, the blinds were under warranty with the manufacturer and replaced at no charge. I learned my 11/12 year old and his friends are too competitive to play soccer in the house Wink
