    bored so lets talk Hypothetically(sp)

If our kids had to play within their "regions" kind of like school districts where would your kids end up playing? now remember its just for fun so don't get carried away lol! so i guess the regions would be as follows,in Dallas.. north, then East and West and then South and then they same for our Tarrant county brothers! my BB would be on an Eastside team now which one who knows tongue

I'm out of things to clean, scrub, mend...and since it's you, Omega, BB would play in North Dallas.

Where would we have to play? Would East Texas be allowed to play in Classic if it was split into Dallas and Tarrant County regions or should we just "go back to where we belong" as a few have suggested on this site?

Don't be ridiculous Crazy. If you and your gang have the commitment to make the trek in to play in Classic, I think that is great as long as you have some players that can hang, and you obviously do. Besides that, we would really miss the culinary flair you bring to the table. What's cookin' this time of year in the backwoods? Any new possum recipes you can share?

Too cold for possum. Whatever is in season (i.e. roadkill).

You guys must have some very committed players, parents and coach(es) to keep playing in Classic. You all deserve a lot of credit for that. Have you seen the ESPN story on Clint Dempsey that talks about how his parents drove from Nacodoches to play in Classic and practice in Dallas as well? Certainly paid off for them in the end. Maybe someone will post a link to the video.

Do you guys come in on Fridays and spend the night when you have an early game on Saturday?

We saw the story during World Cup coverage and of course we've known his story forever being from the same area. I have to say, that is dedication because Nac is alot further than Tyler. Daniel Hernandez has done quite well also. Now, he's giving back to Tyler. His family has done so much to promote soccer in East Texas. His dad coaches at Texas College and his sister is an assistant at Robert E. Lee. Daniel recently held a one-day free skills clinic at Pat Hartley Field, home to the two-time National Juco Champions, Tyler Junior College (Go Apaches). About 250 kids showed up and he signed autographs for all who asked.

In answer to your question, we don't usually spend the night and Classic has been pretty good about trying not to schedule any 8 a.m. games. It's only about 1 1/2 hours to Richland but about 2 to 2 1/4 to PHP. We have a great group of kids and parents. Had a great tournament this past weekend and some very happy boys for a change. We'll see how it goes this season.

I like cheering for you guys unless we are playing against you. I hope you do well and wish you the best!
