This is definitely a fun tournament worth doing at least once if not every year. If you could just turn down the live broadcast just a hair, the overall experience would improve and we might need less Advil by the time its over.

@espncopa, for the U10 group, what are the tournament rules for offside? In the U8 group last year there was no offside rule and that would be my only complaint. In SDL, the teams were just learning the offside rule on the field and then unlearning it at the tournament. Other than that, it was a very fun & festive tournament.

If you would like for you U9 to participate you can, but you will be playing against the U10.

Quik Note: Last years U14 Champions were actually U13. And last years U15 champions were actually U16.

It all depends if you want your kids to get the experience and play year up.

If you have any questions call Roger Sosa 817-366-2053

FYI, offsides will be in effect this year for U10 age group. Not sure about U8 but for sure U10, I just talked to Roger and that is for sure and to me that is a very good thing. Anyway, I'm looking forward to this tournament.

It was fun for our boys last year. I highly recommend it. The competition was good and the boys loved their trophies and jerseys for winning their division. Roger and the rest of the ESPN crew did a great job. I know this year will be better because I know more teams will participate.

I see that this tournament is invitational only; how does a team get an invite??? and is it true that a coach can form his own roster with any players of age since it's not a NTX sanctioned tournament...?

My advice is to call and ask, they'll be sure to help you and give you any information you request.

My oldest bb plays on Wizards 00 team, so last year we played U10. My youngest son who is on Wizards 03 played up with the Wizards 02 team in the U8 division.

Our Wizards 99 team also played in it in the U12 division.

And yes, it's not sanctioned by NTX, so as long as you have a copy of the players birth certificate and some sort of picture ID for them, they can play!

This tournament was great last year, I really would love my bb to play again this year. Just don't know
if they will get a good showing of high caliber teams, it falls on the same weekend as State Cup for NTX.

I have a big question, why is it that only U14 Champs get the trip to disney?

This year is our first year sending any champions to the Disney Cup Intenational, we hope to add other age groups in the coming years.

    NOTE:

THE TOURNAMENT DATES HAVE CHANGED DUE TO THE STATE CUP. WE WILL NOW HAVE THE TOURNAMENT ON JUNE 24, 25 AND 26.
