I see you have Babel over the Pumas. Haven't heard anything about the Pumas recently, not really since end of Fall. Do you think they have lost some ground for some reason?

I haven't seen the Pumas either. Just think Wilco will have his boys ready for them. They play well against the good teams and then they go to sleep against teams they should beat.

Didn't Liverpool lose to the Pumas the first season 3 to zero? I am not sure I would put too much stock in this prediction.

Better days being predicted for DT.
Did they get better over the break, new players?

If FC Dallas Premier has the scoring machine they had at Mark Brown can't see Andro beating them.

    rqps,

We are different on most of them. It will be fun to see how this weekend finishes up. I certainly think more of Tigres and less of Texans than you do.

    Texans 3 Tigres 0

Tigres are a fantastic team but at this age anyone can win on any given day... (maybe not SOLAR)

So Far I've heard TFC royal 0 Kicks 1
    DT 3 Tigres 0
    TFC 0 Solar 5
    Andro 1 FCD 0
And I think SR 2 RM 0? Can anyone confirm?

Great weekend for the Kicks and the Texans not so much for RM and TFC.

Besides Solar, Kicks was the only other team that won both their games.
    Some surprising results though.
Texans must've acquired new players over the winter but no one here willing to confirm...

In D2 Liverpool (Woodberry) over Liverpool (Babel)? Woodys magic starting to show?
FCD Blue and DTR tie - would've given the edge to DTR.

P1er - Prior to the games, you predicted "better days" for the Texans. Okay, now that the cat is out of the bag w/their 3 - 0 victory over the Tigres; what types of changes went on over the break? I don't think anyone would've predicted the Texans over the Tigres based on current standings, so kudos to Craft. Did his '98s hit puberty over the break...lol?

I did predict Texans over Tigres... Not sure why everyone assumes their were changes to the Texans... Kids can play well one week and off the other. Hell maybe the just were off for all of last season.

Surprised no one here is talking about FCD?? People suggesting/predicting top 4 finish but they lost to Andro and SR. Going to be tough to make up ground of both of those teams when they have already lost to them head to head.

Yes you did! It was a gusty call. Something has to have changed to be able to put in 3 goals on the 2nd place team when they only scored 8 in their first 9 games.

On to FCD Premier, I assume the strikers that guested with them in the winter tournaments went back to playing with the 97's for league play. Whether that is the case or not, this is what I think is most damaging about bringing in guest ringers for tournaments. If you are much more successful, then it is in the boys heads that they can't do it without outside help. If you are going to build a successful team, then do it by building and improving the the boys that are on the team. enough of my rant cyclops

And yes, I suck at picking games but maybe I was just "off" last weekend Very Happy

My bad, I misread the post. That's a great upset pick though. My upset pick of the week was Andro over Tigres, but that didn't happen. All I can say about FCD is, I believe they've pinpointed the problem and should be strong going forward.

Either the coach is gone, they've signed a new keeper or David Ferreira's going to be playing for them this weekend.
    Very disappointing results last weekend.

In response to go99, my son doesn't play for FCD, so it's all hear-say, but I overheard that the coach was unhappy with only half the team consistently showing up for practice. Take it for what it's worth, but that's what I understand.
