99 drop zone coming down to the wire

    Post  go99 on Mon Mar 07, 2011 10:48 am

    6 comets 16
    7 FCD prem 15
    8 Solar blue 14
    9 Texas titans 13
    10 Gunners 6

Gunners are gone but only 3 points separating the next 4

Comets are safe I think even if they only take 1 of the 3. Titans, gall, gunners. Give them gunners, no points on gall and toss up the titans. finishing with 19 to 22 points Safe
FCD prem - andro, solar blue, barca. Say 0 points on andro and barca leave the solar blue game as relegation in fighting that could determine the season. Finishing 15 to 18 points.
Solar blue - Solar red, FCD prem, DTS. Unless big bro wants to hand baby bro a few points I see no points with red or DTS. Again relegation in fighting with prem. finishing with 17 points.
Texas titans - Comets, gunners, solar red. No points against red but their fate will be determined before then. Easiest schedule and a possible 6 points out their but do they have the fight to take them? Finishing 16 to 19 points

None of this accounts for the "andro black market collapes", whatever is going on over at south, Or the scoring problems down at Sir Gall.

So who drops and a what points?

Just looked and central is still in that fight also. But hey maybe some of those andro coaches will go indie Very Happy . What happened to the FCD south team? Guess Prem didn't work out so well for them.

It will be Solar Blue going down unles FCDallas completly gags under pressure when they play them. They clearly are the 9th best team.

Gabba- Not complaining. But if you think 3 texans, 2 andro and 2 solar are boring....well didn't you leave one of the smaller clubs?

doesn't matter how many teams the top clubs get in...they will pack only 1 into their "best" team and try to dominate the age group nationally. All the other teams are just good club revenue makers. Texans Gall will only get better next season!

no texans will finish at the top this season so that question has been answered. As far as the other spots are concerned it doesn't really matter this year. Come back in a dallas cup year. The only question left is who will not be here next year. So the idea that you still think there is a race going on up top says alot about you Very Happy.

Texans can go ahead and take spring break lose all 3 games and finish at the top. I guess fighting at the top to see who will get to play state cup is a factor. Trust me the only drama at the top is will top teams collapse over non soccer related issues and the club or parental dramas. The real drama is still the groups of kids fighting together in their last 3 games to determine the destiny of their entire team next season. FCD holding the premier status at the steps of D2 possibly leaving the club with 1000 teams in the 99 age group and nobody in D1. Will nuno be left as the sole carrier of the solar banner?

Completely agree, it is only big deal for the kids who finish first, 2nd or third. But in reality it really doesn't matter this year. Now who stays D1 is a big deal and I think the race at the bottom has been the most interesting all season long...

Based on the schedule I think it really boils down to the Solar(Blue) vs FCDallas game. FCDallas have Andomeda red and Barcelona the last game. I would not want to have to beat that tricky team the last game. So the Solar/fc game will decide who stays and who goes. Titans have the Gunners, probably a win. Could FC CHOKE? With that ridiculous "premier" tag the pressure will be on. Do you get to be called "premier" if you are in d2? That team has fallen far. What gives? Looks like the Comets are in if they beat the Titans this week.

Yeah that Premier title is a bit ridiculous; even in U11 it is really questionable who is the best between that U11 premier team and FCdallas east. FCD have it at every age group though. I don't know, perhaps it creates some internal FCdallas motivation between the teams. Now, as somebody mentioned earlier it really accentuate the fact that there is a top team that the club really cares about and the rest that are just cash flow and income oriented...Anyway, the bottom line is still that FCD should have a D1 team in every age group including the 99. I am crossing my fingers...

A 99 thread dominated by go99, gababa, club31, and omega propping up solar red.

    Lets just analyze briefly;

No kid in 99 (for good reason), frenchy with an axe to grind, a retard without a kid in D1, and no bb in D1 with a little latin bias. This group is certainly qualified and will soon form a committee that will not only solve ntx soccer issues but will make America a world powerhouse in the sport soon enough. You guys keep up the good work and rock on. Tell us all about D1 and what's next, we can not wait.

so in other words you have nothing intelligent to offer to the topic of the post? If you don't like the thread then don't post on it. Just thinly veiled insults to people and their kids. I believe I told you a long time ago to put up or shut the f*ck up. Let us know who you great BB is and then talk sh*t. Because whatever you think about my BB, he is better than yours. The last time I believe you go upset and threatened to kick my ass, but here it sits all this time later freshly "unkicked". SO UNTIL YOU CAN STEP OUT FROM BEHIND ALL THE FAKE PROFILES AND MULTIPLE IDENTITY, B*TCH SHUT THE F*CK UP.

Hey Gababa, can I go ahead and up my 99.9% prediction that HN would take over your team to 100%? C'mon, that's big news, I figured you'd be the first one telling us all of the happy news for your team.

OK....now we are back to discussing the top team again - good! Like I said before, Texans will only get stronger for next year...they will lose none of their core players. Bet they will add a few "A" players though... question is who wil they get?

IMO very disappointing performances from two top organizations (FCD & AR) which are blessed with 1st class training facilities, & rumored to have some of the best coaches.  Why are they not finishing strong at the end?  No real surprises with the 8-10 teams, average play and some of those teams will be a better fit in D2.  Will be interesting to see what happens in the battle to avoid relegation.
