all depends on the coach...our coach has son on the team, son does not get treated any differently than the other boys.
Has a lot to do with age. Early on it's not a big deal... but every situation is different.
Seen some cases that work out great, also seen kids crying and getting mad cause dad didnt start them. Worse part is if mom gets involved also.. change teams!!

Agree that it depends on the coach.
US national team has the head coaches son on the team and noted that it worked relatively well. The coach sometimes is harder on their own kid just so they don't present any favoritism.
