    "............tu madre"

    Post  t5house on Wed Mar 16, 2011 9:45 am

Went to a high school game last night. Very physical on both sides of the ball. Home team side students in crowd chanting the entire game. Nothing bad, actually very spirited and fun chants...........until the end of the game. Home team lost 2-1, these group of kids then chanted, ch$#^ tu madre. I was standing there in shock that no one went over to this group and said anything to them. If a group chants in english....F$#^ your mother.......would anything have been done? I would hope so.

What do you guys think? Why is this acceptable? Should a referee, coach, administator, parent at the game have done something? Is everyone to lax on this type of behavior at all sporting events?

It's okay if it's done in any other languages except English. Please get use to it because if someone say anything, that person is a racist.

Seems like a job for school admins if it is a school event. Why don't you drop an email to the principal and counselor at that school and ask what's up with that.

I've already sent the email. No responses so far. We'll see if anything comes out of this. Everyone is always complaining of 'equality'. I just think some need to be brought to the surface instead of being afraid to being called a racist for speaking up. It's ridiculous.

Just recently I had an Adult player cussing me in spanish for removing his friend from a game, then he proceeded to tell me he was going to get me in the parking lot! All this being said in spanish......it was funny to see the look on his face when I told him what he said to me and then kicked him out. White boys know/understand spanish too!

Good for you T5. Why is it that non-Caucasian people think it's okay to curse and threaten people in non-English and get away with it? I believe if you are in the U.S, we should all play by the same rules and everyone should be treated with respect. That is what I called equality.
