It looks like the qualifing tournament is shaping up to be a good one. At this point we are waiting on Arlington to finish up so we know who the last two participants will be.

    So far we have:
    D3
    DFW Tejanos 99B (Barrow)
    FC Dallas 99Black (Pocock)

    Plano
    TFC 99 Boys
    Manchester SC 99B White

These three teams are fighting for the last two spots in Arlington.

    Arlington
    Fort Worth United 99B Gold
    Texas Lightning 99B
    Aztecas 99B

First we have to see who makes it through from APL but based on the three teams chasing; who do you think makes it into D3 next year? My BB plays on one of the seven teams in question so I choose not to make a choice...

I going to predict TFC and manchester white go thru but if the D1 team Gunners fold, then that pulls up DTR(3rd in D2 to D1) which would pull up Andromeda white(3rd in D3 to D2) that being said then my 3rd pick would be either Tejanos or Aztecas!!! Shocked

What about Azzuri? If they fold does D3 Liverpool move up to D2?

I haven't heard anything about Azzurri. I thought they would be solid for next year. Anything you want to share, 6Ducks?

Be hard to justify driving in from Tyler for D3.

I guess we will know by July 13th.

why not they have a 98' team in D3? scratch their solid and will not fold so look out D3 i'm sure they will rebuild and be one of the top teams in D3 next season! Cool

    Omega (or others),

My understanding is that the BYE into the Classic League is with a club, not a particular coach. So, what happens to Andromeda's Classic slots if the club has folded or is about to fold? Is this a dumb question with a simple answer?

If the club stays on it will remain with the club, if the club folds and the teams disappear everyone moves up. However the team can keep the bye if 75% stay with the team never mind what happens to Andro.

You say everyone moves up. Just for sake of argument lets say Andro folds and Andro-Red disperses. Would Solar-Blue stay in D1 despite finishing in 9th (a position that would normally relegate them to D2)? Or, does a lower finishing D2 team move up in this scenario?

Can we get a roster of who's whom in coaches? I know the great one, but now, I'm trying to remember who is the "special" one? And which coaches have moved to Liverpool lately?

Do you know what if any teams / clubs Liverpool is targeting this year?

Hm, with the changes around here, I don't think Liverpool has to target. I think the Andro coaches must be knocking on every door they can find.

My question was more along the lines of are there any other clubs that have coaches actively seeking change? Any rumors, other than Andro, of clubs folding and moving elsewhere?

Someone mentioned Gunners and Tyler...but I personally hope not. Those are two teams that actually play within the rules
