    What is scary is that AK...aka "The Kid" would be playing for Southlake...if he wasn't is the US Residency program!

    The State Tournament Schedules are posted. The 4A Semis are this Thursday. The 5A Semis are Friday. The Finals for both are on Saturday. The best game of the tourney will be SLC v Strake on Friday at 4 pm.

    If McNeil, who is on roll beating some very good teams to get here, wins and SLC wins to meet in the finals, I predict SLC 3-0 winners. It will be a tough decision on who to root for, a coach a grew up with since 8 yrs old, or my sons Academy coach and home town. Any suggestions?

    Yes, I heard he had another superb game with many great shots on target, even survived a hard Keeper tackle just outside the box. What happened to the middle ref? He had to sub out on a clock stoppage? Is he ok?

    Southlake Carroll does it again winning 2-0. 5A State Champions. Coach Oglesby and the boys. Job well done.
