Sir Gall falls to Pino Premiere boys WTF?

    Post  go99 on Thu May 05, 2011 9:11 am

This deserves it's own topic. What happened? A team that scored 15 goals in 20 games stacks 3 on Sir Gall. The only time they scored that many all season was against Slo-er blue and they are going D2. 98 birth year kids distracted by impending journey to Pre Academy? Sir Gall spend to much time preparing for and watching the royal wedding? Pino's boys tired of getting kicked around and ready to challenge the big boys? Who has the breakdown? Where was ESPN when you need them?

from what I hear the Pino boys have been working hard and practice their tails off. Gall has been vacationing all over the world. New concept..practice does pay off. Cogratulations to FCD

Texans up 1-0 from a corner kick after 10 minutes (header). 1-1 at half time after a quick surprising (and nice) strike from the Fc forward. Then 2-1 then 3-1 for FCD with 10 to 15 minutes to go in 2nd half. 3-2 with 1 minute to go.
I don't think the texans ever took 3 goals in a game but there always is a first and it is game over.

The crown is tarnished king queen and in the shadow of the royal wedding too Sad . What a shame. With Texans normally not playing summer tournaments and the empending pre academy, will this be the final statment of the Knights of Sir Gall? We will have to wait and see if practice pays off Club. They did lose to titans affraid

yup, that is why you play the game and don't just hand out awards. BTW, the Titans played good soccer all weekend. They beat FCD with two well played corner kicks (for some reason FCD struggles with corner kicks and has all season). They came close to a tie/win against the Texans as well (texans won with a last minute goal).

Texans are very well coached and they do not have a perceived weak spot. They move the ball well and are always in the correct position. They do all of the small things right. FCD won the game on heart. It was not pretty soccer at all, but pure hustle. It was a fun game to watch. It was kind of like watching the Mavs beat the Lakers.

FYI - you appear to have a negative obsession with Pino and the FCD 'premier' team. Care to share why? Is there something you are bitter about? I quoted 'premier' because you also attach negative connotations to that moniker as well. Do you think Pino personally created that name? If you look at every age group, the top FCD team was named 'premier', whether they were in first place or last in D1. If they added a color to the end of the team name would that be better? would red, gold, blue be better?

Hooker, finishing the ball in competitive matches is a weakness that's a bit more than perceived. Scoring off set pieces only goes so far...

IF JR hadn't hit the crossbar off the volly with about 7 min left, it could have been 4-1 .I will give you the goalie mistake and redirection, that was a little luck on our side..

Word has it, Gall parents around the metroplex all called in sick today. Any truth to that rumor?

LoL you are reaching hook. No negative obsession with Pino or Premier it's all in "your" head. Posted the topic for no other reason than the #1 team falls to the #6 team. Seems that would be an interesting topic of discussion. And I seemed to mention Gall quite a bit in there too. Why no assumption of obsession with him? Just a tip, the world isn't always about you or your team. It was just a topic of discussion and in truth I don't really care so you might ask "why the obsession with what I do or don't think about your team?" Not trying to bruise feeling so if it bothers you that much just let me know and I will try and take the post down. I will also refrain from mentioning your team, premier, or Pino. Better?

okay I have carefully gone thru the post and apparently a deep seeded hatred that I didn't know I had has led me to believe that the number 6 team beating the number 1 team was out of the ordinary. To think that a team that has proven to be difficult to score on also did it not thru defense but by out scoring them. This is apparently not out of the norm or what was to be expected and "I" was infact clouded by my own issues. I am currently working with my therapist on those issues but in the mean time I have been unable to find out how to remove the thread so it will be up to the moderator to remove the bias, offensive and completely irrelevant thread. Again, my appologies to hooks and all of those I have offended. Sad

no need to apologize amigo. I am not upset in the least. How many 'they can't possibly lose' games have you seen? I have seen a few myself, the patriots/giants SB comes to mind, or Texas blowing out Nebraska, then losing to the poor ags. The Texans have never blown out FCD, no teams really have blown them out. They had problems scoring, but their defense is in the top 3 (pulled that out of my ass, but i think it is correct). The fcd kids busted their ass over the last month, many times practicing 4 times a week. Maybe practice does have something to do with it.

They are def top 3 in defense I might actually put them as one of the best defensive units it the 99. If they were going to win that game I would have expected a low scoring games but got a shootout instead. If they can figure out the offensive side of the ball then they will definitely be back at the top. Just like teaxans, pre academy is looming so finish up strong. None of us know what will happen and what the teams will look like next season.

Hey GO, why don't you tell us who the 99 premier coach will be along with the 98 premier and 98 academy team coaches. FCD will be announcing them by tomorrow so why don't you give the board or bored for some of us a little preview. If you don't want to I can.................tomorrow that is.

To give us a day to talk about it and once it's public we can talk again for a day or two. Makes sense to me. I guess Molina is one of the pre academy coaches, maybe Suarez or Pino as well.

Because it's FCD and they seem to enjoy all of the cloak and dagger stuff. I am all the more info the better but I don't think I stand in large company on that one. More of a those who need to know will be the last informed strategy

Suarez is a favorite son and has been working with the academy alot and see great things from his 2000 team but I am hearing pre is looking outside of the club. Molina is taking his 97's to academy right?

You mean south east plano? I was just guessing. I have no ties to FC Dallas - yet. Surprised

    Ok I'll take a couple stabs and see how close I get since GO doesn't want to play;

    1. FCD Premier will be coached by a non-Latino, maybe a little European flare..................

    2. Molina will coach FCD 98 Pre Academy. Since I've predicted this one already I'll stick with it.

    3. If Chosen one chooses FCD, they will train at their East facility, or South East Plano as The German puts it. Will HN step up to the plate?

oh you are good. I will go with number 1. Number 2 is reasonable but I am not so sure here. Number 3 also seems like a winner. HN is stepping up to buy teams only but not fields.
