Looks like Solar wins the most expensive club award.

Texans went up $200 this year from $2600 to $2800. This does not include the $400 for uniform kit.

FC Dallas is $2250 or $2350 with payment plan plus $350 uniform kit.

Texans are just too much and what about Andromeda?

I think you should also list who has their own practice fields and whether they are lighted or not. I think this does make a difference in determining costs. Some clubs can cut costs by practicing on school fields but what do they do when the time change occurs?

I like to see this kind of post as I see it as useful for the future for many who cost does come into play. Does anyone realize we in NTX pay more than anywhere else in the USA on average for select soccer. If people realized how much some of these coaches are actually walking away with in their pocket, you would be surprised. Do the Math. All team costs to register per league, uniforms, competitive player fees. These are basic fees and are openly viewable on the league websites. Well uniforms you may have to look up yourself, then depending on club size see how buying in bulk drops that cost WAY down per uniform since they buy so many.ah ha though you have to buy them from the club itself who then in turn marks it back up so you end up paying 200-500 per uniform set including warmups that the kids wear so often.lol It's a giant racket. They get you coming and going. oh no what about extra tournaments beyond what was in the contract. On average a tourney cost between $400-$650 per select team now divide and see what you're paying and then... oh your not paying the coach enough already, now you have to pay his way (food, transportation and lodging)to do a tourney you didn't plan on. What's worse is the bigger clubs get their uniform kits much cheaper than the smaller teams yet those same clubs charge way more than the smaller club. hmmmmm....makes ya think. I have known several teams/small clubs(not classic... well some classic actually) that manage to keep their costs under $1000. What's even funnier is the parents that say well the teams are better at the big clubs or the coaching is better, blah blah blah. I love to see the low cost teams wax the big cost club teams. Makes you think are you getting what you paid for or just getting scammed.I'm sure there will be those of you to offer excuses why bigger clubs cost more and are better and honestly I don't care. I have been around a while and observed how this is all working and I just have to say, research EVERYTHING before you decide how much you are willing to spend, where and with who you are willing to sign your kid with with. This is kids playing a sport in which many will leave and out of the ones that stay how many will actually go on to play even college soccer. Be realistic people. My BB plays select and he enjoys it weather I pay $1 or $5000. I know I sound bitter but really I'm not. I just see what's going on and it is crazy.JMO
