I will never understand why the Texans feel the constant need to create their own tournaments, which are frequently "required", and which nearly always will directly compete with already well established tournaments. This does nothing but deprive their teams of the opportunity to participate in real tournaments with other teams/clubs and get some variety in their play. It also seems a bit like needlessly throwing their weight around, just because they can.

For this specific example, there is already a very well known, popular and well attended tournament in Austin two weeks later on Labor Day. What team is going to make two near-consecutive trips to Austin? No one.
