DA teams at Plano Labor Day ?

    Post  my2cents on Tue Aug 09, 2011 9:12 am

Now that Plano Has changed their eligibility rules to allow US Club and USSF teams will any be playing? If so will USSF U16(95 birth year) play NTX U16("96s")or opt to "play up" in the 95 division ? Nothing in the rules addresses it.

I'm not 100% certain but I believe they will still have to go by the USYSA rules, that state you have to play in the division of your oldest player. In Dallas Cup the U16 DA had to play in the U17 bracket and the U18 had to play in the U19 or Super Group. It wouldn't be right for our CL teams to have to play teams that had boys a year older on the opposing team.

I would like to see how the CL teams would stack up against the Pre DA teams, I think it could be interesting.

Any Pre Academy teams out there registered for Plano Labor Day? 98,97 or 96

FCD will be in Chicago that week-end and the Texans host their own friendlies that week-end.

They are 8 monthes older on average but it would not bother me. At U15, U16 and up age becomes less and less of a factor.
